Summary

    Zebre 8-7 Dragons

Zebre blow a golden opportunity with obstruction in the 22 after a wonderful break by livewire wing Simone Gesi.

Numbers galore down the left and prop Muhamed Hasa fails to put it through the hands.

Terrible execution in the 'red zone', and probably sums up why Zebre are bottom of the table.

Nonetheless, they still have five minutes on the sin bin.

We said after 20 minutes the game hadn't really burst into life - it certainly did after that.

The game had everything, yellow and red cards, tries, plenty of drama and last minute action!

But ultimately ther Ospreys were their own worst enemy when you give away those yellow cards in the first half it's very diffifcult to win the game.

And when Cardiff got their opportunities they took them and you have to say they deserved it.

Dan Thomas rewarded for this try-scoring display with the Player of the Match award.

Deserved as well, Thomas was everywhere.

Incidentally, 12,035 were in attendance for that clash tonight.

And they didn't go home short changed either.

  5. Full-time: Cardiff 24-21 Ospreyspublished at 20:50 BST 24 April

Dan Edwards knocks-on by half-way and bragging rights go to Cardiff.

But there is as much relief as there is elation at the Arms Park right now. A nailbiting finish from nowhere.

    Cardiff 24-21 Ospreys

Cardiff can't convert their late chance and instead it is Ospreys trying to press as the clock goes red....

Cardiff have a penalty in front of the posts, corner or three points?

Callum Sheedy opts for the former. One last chance at a fourth try.

    Tommaso Di Bartolomeo

Zebre kick a penalty to the corner and eventually get their reward with hooker Tommaso Di Bartolomeo getting over the line.

Double whammy for Dragons with lock Levi Douglas sent to the sin bin.

    Dan Edwards try & con

    OH MY WORD!

For Cardiff, is history repeating itself in reverse?

Morgan Morris is held up inches short but Ospreys keep it alive and Dan Edwards picks up to dive over from a yard out!

He also converts and forget that push for a bonus point, Cardiff are hanging on here.

    Zebre 3-7 Dragons

Back under way in Parma, where hopefully the quality will improve.

  11. Postpublished at 76 mins

    Cardiff 24-14 Ospreys

    Chris Horsman
Former Wales prop on BBC Radio Wales

I wouldn't say Ospreys have upped their game, Cardiff have just taken their foot off the gas and gone a bit sloppy.

  12. Sin-bin: Josh McNallypublished at 75 mins

    Cardiff 24-14 Ospreys

Another glimmer of hope for Ospreys as Josh McNally is sin-binned for a deliberate knock-on.

Not only was there a collective sigh from Cardiff fans after that Walsh score, all the journalists who were in Llanelli last weekend said "not again".

    Is a re-write incoming?

  15. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Cardiff 24-14 Ospreys

Mr. Horsman is right, that try came from nowhere. Ospreys have barely threatened in attack in this second half.

Strangely, the atmosphere has gone flat at the Arms Park. You sense the home crowd are anxious about this potential bonus point.

    That came from absolutely nowhere.

Ospreys looked like they were going side to side, but what a line from Cameron Jones, any back would have been proud of that.

  17. try

Try: Cardiff 24-14 Ospreyspublished at 68 mins

    Jack Walsh (Con: Dan Edwards)

    For Ospreys, hope rides again...

Cam Jones wasn't even in the squad two hours before kick-off, but he brilliantly takes a pop pass in midfield, goes through a gap, and gives the scoring pass to Jack Walsh.

I would not get stuck next to the prop at the bar this weekend - whoever does will surely hear about that burst again.

  18. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Cardiff 24-7 Ospreys

Ospreys are not threatening any kind of dramatic fight back but they are frustrating Cardiff here as they try and push for a vital bonus point.

Luke Morgan does well to pick up a loose ball in defence and then is deemed to be high-tackled by Dan Thomas and the visitors clear their lines.

  19. Half-timepublished at 20:32 BST 24 April

    Zebre 3-7 Dragons

Fair to say that it isn't a classic in Parma.

Dragons lead thanks to a try by wing Jared Rosser and it's so far, so good because they have avoided injury ahead of next weekend's Challenge Cup semi-final.

The Italians have shown little quality so far in their final home game of the season.
