Bit of concern here and it's Walmsley on Nsemba and I think Walmsley's gone after Nsemba there - it's rocked him.

The hit is judged to be a fair one from Alex Walmsley, but Wigan get the penalty all the same for an offside call.

    It's a melee a minute now.

Owen Dagnall tackles Junior Nsemba low, then Alex Walmsley comes in over the top with a big hit.

That is a bone rattler of a collision.

He's just smiling and laughing - taunting his opponent!

How good is that contact. Brilliant tackle - hits him under the ball. Boom, straight on his back, forces the error.

    Brilliant scenes.

    It suddenly got heated!

Alex Walmsley is crunched in a tackle by Junior Nsemba, then slammed to the ground.

The ball spills out of Walmsley's hands. He gets to his feet and players from both sides rush in for some afters.

It's quickly calmed down by referee Jack Smith, with both players getting a talking to.

Down to 12 men for 10 minutes with 22 points to make up with less than 15 minutes of the game left.

It's suddenly looking a little impossible for Saints.

An example of frustration there. I'm not sure what Jack Welsby was thinking charging in trying to cause a ruckus in the ruck.

  9. SIN-BINpublished at 65 mins

    St Helens 0-22 Wigan

The challenge is unsuccessful, and St Helens cough up the penalty.

Not only that, but Jack Welsby is sent to the sin-bin for the way he joined the tackle late.

It really has gone from bad to worse for Saints.

    Captain's Challengepublished at 16:08 BST 9 May

    St Helens 0-22 Wigan

St Helens need this captain's challenge to come off.

Tristan Sailor popped a pass out to the left, but it lands in the hands of Wigan's Jack Eckersley.

Wigan had the advantage then Jack Welsby came in to slow up the play.

There are few things that will need looking at, it seems.

You have got to admire the way Wigan have just absorbed so much pressure here this afternoon but see themselves 22 points to nil on the scoreboard.

    It's quite incredible.

Is there anywhere that Jack Farrimond hasn't been for Wigan today.

Again, he latches onto a probing kick from Saints to stop their latest raid.

From there, the Warriors spring forward and go just about 100m with their attacking set.

For me they (St Helens) have to start changing that angle and come back through that middle third to challenge back on the inside if they are going to unlock Wigan.

Harry Robinson takes it upon himself to try to get that elusive St Helens try.

He chases his own kick, but Jack Farrimond is first to it.

We have yet another goalline drop-out

St Helens cannot get Wigan's defence to yield, no matter how they try to get through.

They force a series of repeat sets, with a goalline drop-out mixed in for good measure, but they just can't find a way over.

St Helens are let off the hook when Wigan appeared to be on their way to grabbing the first try of this second half.

Play, however, is called back for obstruction.

And instead it's St Helens who regain possession on the halfway line.

Wigan had St Helens scrambling in defence for a fraction of a second.

But Harry Smith's kick bounces kindly and Saints survive.

Wigan are coming up with huge defensive goalline plays at the rate of one a minute at the moment.

Junior Nsemba holds firm with the latest, plucking a high kick from Jackson Hastings out of the air as it he was picking low hanging fruit from a tree. What composure.

St Helens do well to make the metres with their latest set.

Jackson Hastings puts up a high bomb, but Jai Field is unfazed and neutralises the danger for Wigan.
