That is the York we have been looking for and wanting to turn up. That set looks like they have settled into the game.
Wigan 12-0 York
Savannah Andrade breaks through and on the last tackle York threaten for the first time but good scrambling defence from Wigan captain Georgia Wilson enforces a handover.

It's quite poor from York there, but when Wigan get the opportunity to attack from a scrum they will make the most of that.
York have got to be better there. Meg Williams just strolled through and it's great support for a finish under the sticks.

Megan Williams breaks through the middle with a dummy and unselfishly sets up Mary Coleman to dot down next to the sticks.
Isabel Rowe adds the extras once more.

Megan Pakulis is a great addition back for York after 12 months in the NRLW, and I think she will bring a lot to this York side today.
Wigan 6-0 York
How will York react to that early blow?
Well, they are awarded six again as Wigan fail to make their 10 yards but another forward pass lets the Warriors off the hook.
An opportunity for York to pin their opponents back goes begging.

Wigan just looked dangerous from the scrum. They did well to get the handover. It was a silly error from York, really.
They went for the powerplay on the last tackle and Banks does well to get the ball back to Foubister, and she goes herself and gives a lovely pass to the wing.
Ellise Derbyshire, goal Isabel Rowe

Wigan move the ball left and Molly Jones breaks a tackle to get into York territory.
The ball is eventually shifted to wing Ellise Derbyshire and she dives over in the corner to give Wigan an early advantage.
Isabel Rowe then nails the conversion from wide out.

Women's Challenge Cup: Wigan Warriors thrash St Helens to lift trophy for first time
Wigan Warriors aim to defend their Challenge Cup crown today as they face York Valkyrie in the first of two semi-finals this weekend.
Denis Betts' side completed the clean sweep last season - winning all three domestic trophies on offer - including a victory over bitter rivals St Helens at Wembley last June in the Challenge Cup final.
Today's clash comes too soon for last season's Woman of Steel, Eva Hunter, who remains ruled out with a hamstring problem ahead of the league campaign, which starts next week.
As for York, full-back Tara-Jane Stanley and influential centre Emma Kershaw are injured but Australian Monique Donovan is in the squad following her try-scoring debut in the 34-10 victory against Huddersfield in the quarter-finals.
"It was a great opportunity for me to come over to England coming off the back of the Grand Final win with the [Cronulla] Sharks, it was an experience to try something new and bring my skills over," Donovan told BBC Sport.
"I was definitely glad to get all those nerves out."
