York are having to kick out of their own 40 and are only getting to the 40 in Wigan's half.

They will look to put more points on the board now.

Wigan return the ball with interest and a brilliant kick from Jenna Foubister forces Eboni Partington to retrieve inside her own goal area but the full-back does well to get out of trouble.

Another handling error from York - Eboni Partington is this time guilty of taking her eye off the ball and knocking on.

That presents Wigan with the opportunity to get back on the attack but Jenna Foubister knocks on.

Big second half needed if York are to have any chance of going to Wembley for the first time in their history.

Wigan have come with a game plan, which is to hit those edges. But the Warriors pack have caused the most damage.

Wigan try to go early but blow the opportunity of extending their lead by losing the ball close to five yards out.

A fluid move on the right sees Georgia Wilson threaten to break through but she knocks on at the vital moment under pressure otherwise she would have had a clear run to the line.

A shame for York, Tara Moxon takes her eye off the ball and drops inside her own half.

After the put in, Wigan knock on and York have the opportunity to get up the field.

It was good to see York throw the ball about.

It's clicking for York, they are getting there, but they will need a big defensive effort now.

Jenna Foubister hammers a kick downfield for Wigan but it is well caught and retrieved by Eboni Partington.

York then get a penalty and Tamzin Renouf's strong carry gets them to within 10.

On the last, Partington twists and turns but is just short of the line for York. Best move by Valkyrie so far.

That is frustrating. Six again on Wigan's line, which they've not had.

Maybe Rihari didn't hear the call in time at the play of the ball.

They just needed to play some simple rugby there.

Megan Pakulis threatens to break through to get York on the board but she is stopped in her tracks by some good scrambling defending by Wigan.

York's Sade Rihari is then guilty of playing the ball behind Petra Woods and the chance goes for Valkyrie.

After Wigan get a penalty for a high tackle on halfway, the Warriors move it right but Grace Banks drops under pressure from York's Tamzin Renouf.

It's another time that York have invited Wigan into their half and they come away with some points.

Wigan's defence remains resolute as York fail to gain much yardage and are forced into kicking inside their own half.
