He got a great run out of Black Hill and was late on the brakes into Juniper!

The Ducati seems to have the grunt but Harrison is so good on the brakes and is still there at Metropole.

Harrison gets Irwin into University, but the Ducati man hits straight back into Ballysally. Great racing!

Peter Hickman is into third after a strong run out of Mill Road.
Stacey is off the podium but is the fastest newcomer in NW200 history!

Irwin is looking for his 12th Superbike win at the North West 200.
Dean Harrison is looking for his first win at the event. Both would be popular winners.
Irwin leads by 0.412 over the line.
Storm Stacey is now 7.1 seconds back, and Peter Hickman is now fourth - just 1.7 seconds off the podium!

Irwin maintains his advantage over Harrison into Mather's.

Michael Dunlop just went 212.4mph through the speed trap, which matches Josh Brookes' lap record from qualifying three years ago.
Dean Harrison isn't letting Glenn Irwin get away and the gap is 0.332 seconds over the line.
Stacy is third and has three and a half seconds over Hutchinson, with Hickman, Brooks and Dunlop in that next train.

Irwin and Harrison have dropped Stacey a touch over the back end of the lap, but he still has a healthy margin to Hutchinson.

A rider went straight on at University, I think it was Richard Cooper.

The front three are pulling away from Hutchinson in fourth.
Irwin leads but Harrison isn't far away, with Stacey also just behind.
Stacey is right on the back of Harrison but it's Irwin who leads by one second.
Hutchinson is fourth with Brooks, Cooper, Hickman and Dunlop all pretty close behind.

Irwin has pulled away as they head towards Portrush.
It's settled behind with Harrison, Stacey and Hutchinson in the mix.

Irwin stretches his legs out of Mill Road but Harrison reels him back in to take the lead at University.
Irwin hits straight back and Stacey has a look at Harrison into Mather's but the Honda man holds it.
