    After a straightforward hold for Konta, it looked as though Watson was going to do the same.

    But early drama in the second set as a double fault gave Konta break point. Watson gave her compatriot a further helping hand, slicing a backhand into the net to give Konta a 2-0 lead.

    Nishioka is serving at the start of the fourth set and it goes to deuce, but he claims the next two points, sealing the game with a fine serve that Murray can just about get his racquet to, but can't steer it back into play.
