    *Williams/Murray 3-4 Melichar/Soares

Serena Williams winds up a forehand return, we saw a few of those missiles land yesterday, but drags it just wide. Soares and Melichar edge to a hold.

  9. Pella breakspublished at 15:04 BST 10 July 2019

    *Pella 5-7 4-6 2-0 Bautista Agut

Error, error, error - and Guido Pella does fight back!

An uncharacteristic drop in performance by Roberto Bautista Agut sees Pella recover from 15-love down to win four successive points.

    Interesting.

    Djokovic 6-4 6-0 5-2 Goffin*

Goffin won't go down without a fight as he smacks down his fourth ace.

    Pella 5-7 4-6 1-0 Bautista Agut*

Guido Pella led 40-love in the opening game of the third set, but rather than a confidence-boosting hold to love the game quickly turns to deuce.

There's no sign of resignation in Pella's play yet, however, and for the first time in the match the Argentine holds in his opening service game of the set.

    Fightback on?

  13. Break point Murrenapublished at 15:02 BST 10 July 2019

    Williams/Murray 3-3 Melichar/Soares*

Stunning return from Andy Murray on the backhand side, as Melichar and Soares seem to freeze.

And then the loudest roar of applause on court two so far!

Soares and Williams bat it between each other at close range but somehow Serena reacts to guide it away from the Brazilian. Great point. 30-40.

    Murrena sense a break...

    *Djokovic 6-4 6-0 4-2 Goffin

    John McEnroe

Goffin won his first two rounds easily. But he's not moving as well now in this third set. It's more mental than anything else. Lack of belief translates to heavier legs.

    Williams/Murray 3-3 Melichar/Soares*

Murray thinks he's nailed an ace down the T. It's called long, he challenges... and Hawk-Eye falls in the favour of the line judge. Murray skips forward to slice a forehand volley into the tramlines on the next point for another hold.

    *Williams/Murray 2-3 Melichar/Soares

Bruno Soares tickles a slice into the SW19 sky, but that's not a great idea when Serena is lurking... she grunts into a thumping overhead winner, before wandering off for a quick behind-the-hand whisper with Andy Murray. Williams goes after the next air-born return too. 30-0.
