    *Querrey 1-1 Nadal

Nadal proves he can do this serving thing too. Querrey can't return any of the Spaniard's first three serves.

The third seed then thumps a forehand winner into the corner to hold to love.

Kei Nishikori picked up a new racquet early in preparation for set number three.

Where he was so effective on the second serve against Roger Federer in the first set, he's now making a lot more unforced errors.

    Querrey 1-0 Nadal*

Querrey serves his first ace of the day (first of many, presumably).

The world number 65 hits a winning drop-shot then finishes off the hold with his second ace of the day (told you).

  8. 'Querrey is a dangerous player'published at 16:51 BST 10 July 2019

    *Querrey 0-0 Nadal

    John Lloyd
    Former GB Davis Cup captain

Querrey is a dangerous player on a lot of surfaces but grass is the best surface for him.

He's not scared and he goes for broke. He's a confident player and I think he'll embrace the situation.

And the award for the sharpest trim in SW19 goes to 14-year-old Seth Briggs-Williams.

The youngster from Cambridgeshire has come to Wimbledon a "few times" with an eye-catching barnet and this year has paid homage to his favourite player Rafael Nadal.

"I paint it, but we have a hairdresser who does what they call hair graffiti," mum Louise says.

Good job Seth isn't a Roberto Bautista-Agut fan...

    Boris Becker
Three-time Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

Federer is serving much better than in the first set and there's a lot of free points with it.

The Federer box looks a bit more positive, optimistic - and they should be.

Federer is approaching '80% Federer' here.

An ace and it's a hold.

He will no doubt take the second set.

    Querrey v Nadal

Querrey is playing his third Wimbledon quarter-final in four years and looking to cause another upset after beating Britain's Andy Murray - who was injured and has not played in the singles at Wimbledon since - to reach his second semi-final in 2017.

The 32-year-old American is the only unseeded player in the men's singles quarter-finals and has thumped down 100 aces so far at this year's tournament, dropping just one service game and landing 86% of his first serves.

"My serve feels really good. I'm kind of locked in on it. I have got a good rhythm," he said.

"This is a tournament that rewards good servers. Everything feels right on my serve."

    Querrey v Nadal

Nadal has only dropped one set at Wimbledon this year, in his match against the reliably controversial Nick Kyrgios.

Other than that, it’s been a fairly straightforward journey to the last eight.

Roberto Bautista Agut has already booked his place, now it’s Rafael Nadal’s turn.

The 18-time Grand Slam winner is out on Court One, preparing to face American Sam Querrey.

Federer is cruising here - he's got Nishikori on a yo-yo and performing the Walking The Dog trick.

    A very easy hold.

If it was Djokovic, he probably would have dampened the hopes of Federer fans by breaking back.

Has Nishikori got it in him?
