  1. Zebo reacts to English defeat...published at 18:15 GMT 10 November 2018

    Ireland v Argentina (18:30 GMT)

I think it's fair to say Racing 92 and Ireland winger Simon Zebo was fairly pleased with England's defeat to New Zealand earlier this afternoon.

  2. What happened elsewhere in Europe? - England suffer narrow defeatpublished at 18:11 GMT 10 November 2018

    Ireland v Argentina (18:30 GMT)

England gave up a 15-point lead as New Zealand fought back to clinch a narrow win thanks to the boot of Beauden Barrett at a rain-drenched Twickenham.

Chris Ashton marked his international return with a try in the first two minutes, before Dylan Hartley grounded from a rolling maul as England opened a 15-0 lead with 25 on the clock.

But Damian McKenzie crossed for the All Blacks and Barrett's penalty cut the lead to just five at half-time.

Barrett then edged the All Blacks ahead with a drop goal and a penalty.

  3. What happened elsewhere in Europe? - Scots ease past Fijipublished at 18:05 GMT 10 November 2018

    Ireland v Argentina (18:30 GMT)

Tommy Seymour scored a hat-trick of tries as Scotland weathered an early storm to blow Fiji away with a 54-17 victory at Murrayfield.

Given what happened to them the last time they played Fiji - a bruising loss in Suva in the summer of 2017 - Scotland will have been glad to get this one out of the way. And with an amount of style in the end.

The longer it went on, the more Scotland powered away and the more Fiji suffered. The visitors' ill-discipline cost them two yellow cards and a whole world of trouble. When their energy tanks started to empty, their pain only intensified.

Argentina coach Mario Ledesma has selected a team of entirely home-based players with the bulk of the squad picked from the Super Rugby side the Jaguares.

Scrum-half Tomas Cubelli is one of five players recalled to the starting team that started the last Rugby Championship match against Australia in October with winger Bautista Delguy also returning to the backline.

Argentina (all Jaguares unless stated): E Boffelli; B Delguy, M Orlando, J de la Fuente, R Moyano; N Sanchez, T Cubelli; S Garcia Botta, A Creevy, S Medrano; M Alemanno, T Lavanini, P Matera (capt), G Petti, J Ortega Desio.

Replacements: J Montoya, JP Zeiss (Los Matreros), L Sordoni (Atletico del Rosario), R Bruni (San Luis), T Lezana, G Bertranou, J Diaz Bonilla, M Moroni.

  5. Best and Sexton returnpublished at 17:56 GMT 10 November 2018

    Ireland v Argentina (18:30 GMT)

Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has made 12 changes to the side that hammered Italy 54-7 in Chicago last weekend.

It's a totally different pack as Rory Best returns to captain the side at hooker, while fly-half Johnny Sexton is one of four changes in the backs.

The only three players to retain their place in the starting XV are full-back Jordan Larmour, centre Bundee Aki and winger Jacob Stockdale.

If you still haven't had your fill of rugby after Scotland's thumping win over Fiji and that enthralling game at Twickenham, then fear not, because Ireland are about to resume their autumn campaign against Argentina in Dublin.

The Irish are in fine form as they followed their series victory over Australia in the summer, with a 54-7 victory over Italy in Chicago last week.

Here's hoping for plenty of action at the Aviva today...
