Argentina hung tough there for a long period. It looks like Ireland have said to themselves, 'we've tried taking them on up front so why don't we just do what we do best.'

It's a real shame to see Kieran Marmion go off, it was a real opportunity for him to step into Conor Murray's shoes.

Ireland respond and go through the phases with some neat passing in tight areas. Johnny Sexton kicks the ball away knowing play would come back for a high tackle against him. It looks like it will be a shot at goal.

    Ireland 15-17 Argentina

    Andrew Trimble
Former Ireland international on BBC Radio Ulster

That's a bit of a wake-up call for Ireland. If this Argentina side get a foothold up front, they're a serious threat behind the scrum.

    HT: Ireland 15-14 Argentina

    Malcolm O'Kelly
Former Ireland international on BBC Radio Ulster

We expected Argentina to come out and be aggressive in defence and they have been. They're capable of scoring tries if you give them the opportunity.

They've relied a lot on high kicks, Jordan Larmour maybe isn't as comfortable under them as someone like Rob Kearney. Ireland have let themselves down with small errors and it's cost them dearly.

  16. Irish indisciplinepublished at 19:24 GMT 10 November 2018

    HT: Ireland 15-14 Argentina

    Cian Murtagh
BBC Sport NI at Aviva Stadium

The crowd at the Aviva Stadium are a little on edge after that half. Ireland have the edge in the set-piece but Schmidt will be furious with the indiscipline shown by his players which has allowed Sanchez to keep Argentina in touch.

The Pumas fly-half won't be too happy either. He thought referee Nic Berry was playing an advantage at the end of the half, which is why he attempted the drop goal. Overall the visitors have been more clinical with their chances.

It's evenly balanced here and that's making the crowd a little nervous.

Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis, Gracenote: The 14 first-half points conceded by Ireland are the joint most they have allowed in the first 40 minutes in their last 20 Tests. Australia also scored 14 first-half points in Ireland's 26-21 win in the second Test of this year's summer tour.

    Andrew Trimble
Former Ireland international on BBC Radio Ulster

This Argentina side is used to grinding it out. They're used to getting a hard time, they play the All Blacks regularly. They've had a couple of purple patches but it's been a sloppy first half.
