  1. Wayward shootingpublished at 15:42 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-01 Tyrone 0-03

Kieran McGeary gobbles up Philly McMahon and forces a turnover but Niall Sludden shoots wide.

Dublin are having some trouble shooting themselves as John Small scuffs a wide. Peter Harte is released on the left straight away. Guess what? Wide.

  2. Tyrone pushing up and it's paying offpublished at 15:40 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-01 Tyrone 0-03

Superb start from Tyrone. Mark Bradley moves in through three Dubs and tees up Tiernan McCann who pops over.

Cluxton has misfired on his last two kick-outs

  3. Tyrone leadpublished at 15:39 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-01 Tyrone 0-02

Rock with a free from just inside the 45. Hits it on the ground but doesn't make his usual sweet connection and it is wide.

Peter Harte then promptly gets Tyrone up and running with a free from just to the right of the D.

Then the Red Hands nick a Cluxton kick-out, Cathal McShane plays and outrageous good kick pass to mark Bradley who makes no mistake.

  4. Kick outs start well for Tyronepublished at 15:35 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-1 Tyrone 0-0

Jack McCaffrey gives us his first sprint of the day to move into space but he mishits his effort and Niall Morgan collects. Philly McMahon goes wide for Dublin.

Niall Morgan's first few kick-outs have found their targets, and the Dubs have already switched from man-to-man to zonal.

  5. First blood Dublinpublished at 15:33 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-1 Tyrone 0-0

Dean Rock gets the first point of the match with a free from just outside the D.

Cavanagh is up though, which is very good news for the Red Hands. Mark Bradley shoots wide for Tyrone.

  6. Cavanagh hurtpublished at 15:32 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 0-0 Tyrone 0-0

Cathal McShane has the first effort of the final but it drifts left. Colm Cavanagh, more worryingly, loses his footing while going in on a tackle with Niall Scully and gets clattered right on the knee.

He is down and this is not good for Tyrone.

If Tyrone are indeed to upset the odds, Niall Sludden very simply needs to be at his sparkling best.

Wow the noise is incredible in here as the players follow the Artane Band on the pre-match parade. Over 82,000 people in the house. This occasion is something special.

I don't quite know how they have done it but Tyrone fans have launched a successful raid on Hill 16 - judging by the Red and White infiltrators who have made it into Dublin football's hallowed terrace. I'll bet the craic is mighty up there.

  15. Expectation not weighing on Dubs' shoulderspublished at 15:22 BST 2 September 2018

With three consecutive All-Irelands in the bag, it's maybe not surprising that Jim Gavin is confident that his side have what it takes to make it a fantastic four.

Tyrone didn't exactly plot themselves a straightforward path to the final, but they made it. Mattie Donnelly is backing his side to take the final step.

Tyrone ran out at 15:02 with Dublin following three minutes later.

We're just hearing that Mickey Harte has made two changes to the team he announced on Thursday night.

Rory Brennan replaces Frank Burns in defence with fit-again Conor Meyler in for Richie Donnelly.

Unusually, Jim Gavin has apparently stuck with the fifteen he announced yesterday.

The Red Hand hordes were comfortably winning the vocal battle as I weaved my way through the streets of Drumcondra before eventually finding a spot to park the wagon.

Granted, Dublin fans are notorious latecomers to headquarters but by noon Tyrone fans were already spilling out on to Lower Drumcondra Road from the local watering holes.

A 'Sam Mobile' pick-up truck bedecked in red and white, accompanied by loudspeakers, was helping to get the Red Hand vibe going.

The only concern at that stage for the visiting fans seemed to be whether the dreaded clampers were going to be at their work later on with the ticket machines only allowing payment for a couple of hours.

I'm in the same boat myself on that one so it could be a long night in Dublin for all the wrong reasons.
