    Cliftonville 1-0 Portadown

    It's the hosts that go in at the interval with their noses in front courtesy of Ronan Hale's sublime finish in the 18th minute.

    Portadown responded well after going a goal down and could have equalised through Cathir Friel near-post effort, which was expertly saved by Nathan Gartside.

    Half-time at Coleraine, where the home side lead 1-0 thanks to Matthew Shevlin’s early goal.

    The Bannsiders have dominated much of the first 45 minutes, but have nothing more to show for their efforts.

    Newry City yet to trouble Coleraine goalkeeper Gareth Deane.

    Dungannon Swifts 0-0 Larne

    Larne finally test Declan Dunne, and the Swifts keeper is up to the challenge.

    Andy Ryan’s header puts Paul O’Neill in on the right side of the penalty area, but his volley is palmed wide of the near post by Dunne.

    Moments later Ryan heads over the bar from 12-yards out for the visitors.

    Cliftonville 1-0 Portadown

    Ports keeper Ondrej Mastny is called upon again to keep out Levi Ives.

    Ives is pushing forward at every opportunity and after a one-two with Rory Hale delivers a right-footed effort which Mastny easily gathers.

    Portadown have down well to compete with Paddy McLaughlin's men but both sides have lacked that bit of quality in the final third the first half.

    Almost a moment to forget for Newry defender Andrew Martin.

    Under pressure from Lyndon Kane charging down the right, he attempts to clear the ball, but somehow blasts the ball in the direction of his goalkeeper Steven Maguire.

    Luckily for him, Maguire is alert and produces a fine reaction save to keep the ball out of his net.

    Ben Tiley is looking lively for the home side - he does well and cuts in from the left wing before firing just wide of the left post from the edge of the box.

    Carrick are finishing the first half strongly.

    45 minutes have been and gone here at The Oval and it's the hosts who lead at the break.

    Bobby Burns' rifle on 33 minutes is the only difference between the two sides at the break.

    The better side are ahead. Work to do for David Healy and the Blues in the second half.

    Approaching half-time at The Showgrounds, where the home side continue to probe, looking too add to Matthew Shevlin’s early strike.

    Despite some inventive build-up play, though, they have failed to really trouble Newry goalkeeper Steven Maguire.

    To be fair, Gareth Deane in the Coleraine goal has had even less to do.

    After receiving treatment for a legnthy period of time, Peter Campbell is unable to play on for the home side and is being replaced by Aaron Prendergast.

    That's a huge blow for Glenavon as he was having a great game.

    His free-kick just outside the penalty area looked destined for the back of the net but Manchester United loanee Ondej Mastny reacts brilliantly to keep the left back's effort out.

    Niall Currie's men react quickly to clear the ball.

    Good build-up play between Philip Lowry and Paul Heatley, searching for his 200th club goal tonight, leaves Jordan Forsythe with space and time. However, the midfielder blasts the chance well wide.

    After a strong start from the away side, there haven't been many chances here recently.

    Cathir Friel is presented with Portadown's biggest chance of the game and the striker draws an excellent save from Nathan Gartside.

    Friel twists and turns in the Reds penalty area before shooting low and hard at Gartside's near post but the former Derry City stopper keeps it out.

    Big opportunity for the bottom side to equalise.

    It is fair to say that it has not been a first 30 minutes that will live long in the memory.

    Most of the game is being played in the Dungannon half, but goalmouth action is scarce with the Swifts looking organised in defence.

    What a strike from Bobby Burns to give Glentoran the lead!

    Shay McCartan did brilliantly initially to drag two Linfield players towards him before laying the ball back to Burns who let fly from 25-yards.

    The Glens midfielder stuck the ball superbly with the ball flying past the helpless Chris Johns in the Linfield goal.

    Teggart recieves the ball wide left before cutting in and shooting from distance but the ball goes wide of Nathan Gartside's far post.

    The Ports have responded well to going 1-0 down but need to be better in the final third to trouble this Cliftonville defence.
