Wonderful play all round - Abada with great pace on the ball, right into Kyogo's path and he hits it first time. Credit to the keeper. Konovalov gets his angles right, makes himself big and it was a good save.

Liel Abada turns the afterburners on and frightens the life out of the Livingston defence, before slipping in Kyogo.

The striker gets his shot away but Ivan Konovalov was quick off his line and saves with his feet, Emi Martinez style.

He then has to block another shot inside the box from Hatate. Celtic are relentless right now.

Anthony Ralston was down with what looked like a sore ankle, but he bounces up and forces a save from Ivan Konovalov with a fierce drive.

He's still limping about though.

It's a big mistake. It was a good ball but you'd expect the central defender to be on the front foot and clear that ball. He was back on his heels. If you're the centre-half you can't just stand there and let the ball hit you.

Jota chucks in a few stepovers and flashes another cross along the six-yard box.

Celtic have put about four or five crosses into that area, but nobody has gambled to get on the end of it.

For Livingston, every minute that passes, they are still in the game. They've had a couple of hairy moments. Celtic are ramping it up with some lovely one-touch stuff.

Another Celtic move down the left results in a Jota cross, it's headed to Anthony Ralston who drives a shot over the bar from 20 yards.

Worth a hit. The full-back smashes a low ball across the six yard box a minute later.

It feels like a matter of time...

Getting to the by-line is a critical part of the Celtic team. It drags central defenders out of position. The Dutch used that cut-back in the World Cup - it allows players arriving in the box to get on to the end of things.

Fair to say this has been fairly one sided so far.

Celtic have had 85% possession.

Livi have completed just 11 passes...

And again, Reo Hatate is on the move. He never stops.

A one-two with Matt O'Riley and he flashes a shot into the side netting.

Celtic are piling on the pressure.

Reo Hatae gets in on the underlap and fizzes a ball right across goal, but there are no takers.

The champions are up for this.

Celtic are so good at winning the ball back. Like a pack of snarling hyenas.

After they lose the ball they force another turnover, and Matt O'Riley gets a shot away, but it's comfortable for goalkeeper Ivan Konovalov.

Livingston get a free kick, but it doesn't come to much as they launch it into the box.

Celtic gallop up the other end and Jota forces a corner.

Reo Hatate smashes a shot into the stands as it drops to him at the edge of the box.

Celtic's Jota is caught offside. That is a stupendous moustache he's sporting.

He's not wasted the five-week break, that's for sure.

He's a thoughtful manager, an impressive manager. There are plenty of clubs with bigger budgets who have passed him by, mistakenly. I think he is a manager of substance, he is a shrewd operator. This is a big test for him tonight but he won't be afraid of it.

Celtic keep the ball moving. It's very difficult for the opposition. You have to be concentrating for the entire 90 minutes.

Nothing much to report so far. Livingston's usually reliable centre-back Ayo Obileye sclaffed his first clearance, but got away with it.

An expectant home crowd return in their masses to Celtic Park expecting nothing less than another win to regain their nine point lead over Rangers.

Most outsiders expect that too.

However, Livingston often provide sticky resistance and have one major thing going for them. Belief.

They'll feel it is far from beyond them to get something but they will likely have to come through a barrage of attacks to do so.
