    Remember this one?

Coleraine secured a sixth Irish Cup success and a first since 2003 by beating Cliftonville 3-1 in a pulsating final at Windsor Park in 2018.

Darren McCauley scored the pick of the goals that day, helping Oran Kearney clinch his first trophy as manager after they were edged out in the Premiership title race by Crusaders.

Stephen O'Donnell and Aaron Traynor are the sole survivors from that triumphant Coleraine team. O'Donnell starts while Traynor is on the bench.

For Cliftonville, there's Levi Ives while Chris Curran and Joe Gormley are on the bench.

    Carrick Rangers v Linfield

The teams meet at Taylor's Avenue at the second time of asking after last Friday's game was called off because of the league's Covid Case policy.

It's a big match at both ends of the table as the sides return to action after a fortnight break.

Carrick lie just one spot above the relegation play-off place and they make three changes from the defeat by Crusaders.

Reece Glendinning, Lloyd Anderson and captain David Cushley return to the line-up with Corey McMullan, Kyle Cherry and Stewart Nixon dropping out.

Nothing less than a win will take Linfield to the top of the Premiership and boss David Healy goes with four changes from the victory over Portadown.

Jamie Mulgrew, Jordan Stewart, Eetu Vertainen and Chris Johns make way for David Walsh, Kirk Millar, Christy Manzinga and Kyle McClean.

Carrick Rangers: Hogg, Surgenor, Ervin, Cushley (capt), D kelly, Glendinning, Gibson, Carson, Scully, Tilney, Anderson.

    Cliftonville v Coleraine (19:45 GMT)

It's a big night at Solitude and Cliftonville boss Paddy McLaughlin has opted for continuity by selecting the same 11 players that comfortably saw off Crusaders in Saturday's north Belfast derby.

That means Ryan Curran once again leads the line and the Reds top scorer will be hoping to inflict more pain on the Bannsiders after scoring twice against them at Solitude in February's league meeting.

Coleraine boss Oran Kearney makes three changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Larne on Tuesday.

Lyndon Kane comes in at right wing-back as Kearney shifts to a back five, with Aaron Traynor dropping out.

Top scorer Matthew Shevlin and James McLaughlin are restored up front, with Curtis Allen and Andrew Mitchell having to make do with a place on the bench.

Cliftonville: McNicholas, Ives, Addis, Turner, Lowe, McDonagh, Doherty, Gallagher, Hale, Kearns, R Curran.

Subs: McKenna, McDermott, C Curran, O'Neill, Donnelly, Gormley, Coates.

Coleraine: Deane, Wilson, Kane, Brown, O'Donnell, Carson, Glackin, Kelly, Lowry, Shevlin, McLaughlin.

Subs: Gallagher, Mullan, McKendry, Bradley, Traynor, Allen, Mitchell.

  5. Irish Cup quest continues for Redspublished at 19:22 GMT 4 March 2022

It's been 43 years since Cliftonville last tasted Irish Cup success but they are just three games from ending that long wait.

Tonight it's Coleraine who stand in their way in a Solitude quarter-final and there's a bit of history between these two teams.

For this is a repeat of the 2018 decider with the Bannsiders prevailing 3-1 on a May afternoon at Windsor Park.

This could be a season like no other for the Reds - Paddy McLaughlin's side are also in the hunt for the Premiership title and will face Coleraine again in the League Cup final next weekend.

It should a cracker in north Belfast and it's just the feature showing of a Friday night double bill.

We also have league action with champions Linfield targeting a win over Carrick Rangers which would see them return to the top of the table.

Carrick are just six points above the relegation zone so Stuart King's men will be detrmined to thwart the Blues at Taylor's Avenue.
