    Craig Dawson has come a long way since he started his career with Lancashire Amateur League club Rochdale St Clements and Northern Premier League side Radcliffe Borough.

    He's making his 50th appearance for the Hammers tonight.

    The 31-year-old defender's career includes 221 Premier League appearances for West Brom, Watford and West Ham - as well as 17 goals.

    Lawro is regularly accused of being anti-West Ham, external when he does his weekly predictions - and tonight, he is going for a 6-0 Norwich win.

    Only joking, he's actually backing the Hammers to beat the Premier League's bottom club 2-1.

    Brothers Femi and TJ Koleoso from jazz band Ezra Collective (who were his guests when this game was meant to be played on Saturday, 18 December) are also backing David Moyes' side. Femi has gone for a 3-0 scoreline, while TJ thinks it will end 2-0.

    There have been a few changes at Norwich since they last faced West Ham.

    Daniel Farke was in charge when the Hammers ran riot at Carrow Road winning 4-0 in July 2020 - a result which relegated the Canaries with three games of the 2019-20 campaign left.

    Since then Norwich have won the Championship but they are on course to make a quick return to the second tier unless they can get some wins.

    The winter transfer window is well and truly open for business with Philippe Coutinho and Kieran Trippier among those arriving back in the Premier League.

    Will West Ham being doing any business before the window 'slams shut' at 23:00 GMT on 31 January as they chase a European finish in the Premier League, compete in the Europa League knockout stages and look to go deep in the FA Cup.

    "We'd like to add to our squad if we can and if we can find players who we think are suitable, we could do with some backup if we can get it," says boss David Moyes.

    "There's never any guarantee in January the right players are gettable, but we're certainly looking around."

    Bournemouth's Lloyd Kelly, external is among the many players West Ham have been linked with.

    That win came against Brentford earlier this season.

    David Moyes has told his West Ham players to keep on "annoying" the Premier League's top four.

    The Hammers are enjoying an impressive season.

    In addition to chasing a top-four finish, they're in the fourth-round of the FA Cup and into the knockout stage of the Europa League.

    Do they have the quality to stay in the hunt for a Champions League between now and the end of the season?

    "Norwich will see every game as an opportunity, but I see it at West Ham as a chance to challenge the teams at the top and keep annoying them," says Moyes.

    Things have got so bad for Norwich fans that they have been celebrating imaginary goals.

    It happened during their last Premier League game, a 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on 28 December.

    And they were at it again during the FA Cup tie with Charlton at the weekend - even though their side won.

    But the 'celebrations' have not gone down well with Canaries boss Dean Smith.

    "I can be honest and say I don’t like the sarcasm from our own fans. We need to be together in this fight to stay in the league," he said.

    "I know at times it is only a minority but I would ask them to refrain from that (celebrating an imaginary goal) and get behind us."
