I've been impressed with Norwich so far but when they get in the final third they are missing the killer pass. That is why they are having so many problems in the league.

A mistake by Kenny McLean gifts possession back to the hosts. David Moyes is standing in his technical area trying to up the tempo. Apart from that early chance by Jarrod Bowen, West Ham haven't really threatened.

Lanzini is back on the pitch - and West Ham are back on another attack.

This looks a little bit nasty. Manuel Lanzini has come off worse for wear in that collision. It looks like he has taken a knee to the back of the head.

He'll probably be a little bit sore but I am sure he will get on with it.

Tame attempt by Milot Rashica straight at Lukasz Fabianski. Was that an attempt? The ball rolled to towards the Hammers keeper in slow motion.

The home side have a man down. Manuel Lanzini is holding his shoulder and play has been stopped to allow the player to receive treatment.

There is a lot of space in midfield. If Norwich are not careful in possession West Ham could pounce.

You have to say that Norwich are looking quite confident at the moment. Players are trying to get on the ball and they are having a go.

Great defending by Ben Gibson to stop Jarrod Bowen getting on the end of a cross into the box. It rolls out for a corner but it comes to nothing. Bowen looks a real threat.

First shot in anger by the visitors - Kenny McLean from outside the box which sails over after a decent build-up.

It's all West Ham.

Manuel Lanzini lines up a shot from the edge of the box but he slices it high and wide.

Long night ahead for Norwich if the opening stages are anything to go by.

Now the Hammers have a free-kick midway inside the Norwich half which is floated in and headed across the goal but Tim Krul plucks the ball out of the air. A busy start for the keeper.

Norwich start on the front-foot but West Ham almost score with their first attack. Jarrod Bowen finds the ball at his feet inside the box and fires towards the net but it's a good stop by Tim Krul.

It's the Canaries in their yellow shirts who get us under way.
