    Southampton 1-0 Tottenham

No sign yet of a Spurs response at St Mary's. It hasn't clicked yet up front for the visitors.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:31 GMT 28 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Sam Byram lets his frustration get the better of him after losing possession in midfield, hacking down Cheikhou Kouyate and earning himself a booking.

The Palace man needs a spot of treatment but is back on his feet quickly.

  3. Postpublished at 15:29 GMT 28 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Norwich are enjoying a decent spell of possession but Dean Smith's side are lacking an outlet up front.

The Canaries are still to test Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

    Said Benrahma

    Complete turnaround!

It is two goals in two minutes as Francisco Sierralta gives the ball away to spark a Hammers attack that ends with Michail Antonio crossing for Said Benrahma to find the net with a shot that deflects off Adam Masina.

    Watford have fallen apart.

    Tomas Soucek

    Leveller!

    It has been coming.

West Ham pick open the Watford defence as Jarrod Bowen's pass finds Tomas Soucek for a first-time finish inside the box.

    Lovely goal.

Andy: West Ham have become so hesitant going forward. What's happened to all our crisp passing and first-time crosses from earlier in the season?

Not the best timing for this tweet, Andy...

    What a finish!

A long throw from Mohammed Salisu is met but not cleared by a Spurs head and falls for James Ward-Prowse, who lashes an effort past Hugo Lloris.

He's not just a free-kick specialist, this lad.

Kaeto Hernandez: Spurs need to pile the pressure on Walker-Peters now. Son & Reguilon can cause him real problems.

Scott Clark: Never a yellow card for KWP. By grabbing Reguilon's shirt he was trying to stop the poor clumsy fella from falling over.

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

And now Dele Alli goes to ground after a challenge. Not sure there was a huge amount of contact there from Mohammed Salisu either.

The home fans are certainly letting Anthony Taylor know what they think.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:24 GMT 28 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Ouch! Odsonne Edouard barges into Ben Gibson in an effort to win an aerial challenge and picks up the game's first booking.

    No complaints from the goalscorer.

  11. Postpublished at 15:22 GMT 28 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

    Almost 2-0 Palace.

Pierre Lees-Melou is caught in possession and Will Hughes finds Jean-Philippe Mateta in the Norwich penalty area. The Mainz loanee's effort is hit with plenty of venom but flies into the side-netting.

  12. Postpublished at 15:22 GMT 28 December 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

Just two touches in 20 minutes for Son Heung-Min.

Southampton have bettered possession with 58% but in truth they haven't made great gains with it. Spurs have had the ball in the net of course, only for Ben Davies to see a first league goal in over four years chalked out for offside.

  13. Postpublished at 15:22 GMT 28 December 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

Shane Long looks puzzled as Emerson drops to the floor next to him. The striker is right to look confused too. He went in for a tackle but didn't touch the Spurs defender at all. Doesn't stop him pretending, though.

  14. Postpublished at 15:21 GMT 28 December 2021

    Watford 1-0 West Ham

It's a decent, open game this. West Ham are pushing for parity, but Watford look very handy on the break.

  15. Postpublished at 15:18 GMT 28 December 2021

    Watford 1-0 West Ham

Only Mohamed Salah (15 goals, 9 assists) has been directly involved in as many Premier League goals as Emmanuel Dennis (8 goals, 5 assists) this season.

The Nigerian has been directly involved in 10 of Watford's last 13 PL goals (6 goals, 4 assists).

    What a signing.

  16. Postpublished at 15:18 GMT 28 December 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Dimitris Giannoulis tries to release compatriot Christos Tzolis down the left flank but the pass isn't precise enough and Palace intercept.

The hosts look much more confident in possession since their early opener.

  17. Postpublished at 15:18 GMT 28 December 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

Ben Davies is involved at the other end this time. He comes across to prevent Shane Long getting in on goal. A well-timed run and tackle.

Chris Lord: No long covid it seems in Watford. Dennis the bargain of the Summer.

John: Watford are so screwed when Emmanuel Dennis goes to AFCON with Nigeria. Best of luck to him and the Super Eagles, at Qatar 2022, but a short AFCON would be appreciated by everyone in Hertfordshire. :)

Can someone persuade the Nigerian FA not to pick Dennis for the Afcon? He's a Fantasy gem at the moment.

  19. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:15 GMT 28 December 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs do not have the lead.

The free-kick is floated in and headed into the net by Ben Davies, but he (and a host of Tottenham players) had moved too early. Offside flag is up.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:14 GMT 28 December 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Tottenham

Tottenham want their former team-mate Kyle Walker-Peters to be sent off. He's pulled back Sergio Reguilon, who had designs on getting in on goal. The ref clearly feels the foul happened far enough away from goal for their to be doubt, though. Yellow card.
