Will Arsenal win the WSL for the first time since 2018-19?

Long, long way to go but the Gunners have made a really encouraging start under Jonas Eidevall.

Having brushed aside Chelsea, they're well on top against Reading.

    Leicester 0-0 Man Utd

Ona Batlle's run causes problems for Leicester as her shot is blocked on the edge of the box and comes out to Kirsty Hanson.

She plays it over to Lucy Staniforth, who completely fluffs it, but it pops up awkwardly and bounces off the top of the crossbar!

Erin Cuthbert has been outstanding today. She has fulfilled her roles exceptionally and she's lit the touch paper with her pressing. She's my player of the match.

It's been coming right from the start!

    Leicester 0-0 Man Utd

Lots of concern for Millie Turner, who seemed to clash with Tash Flint before that chance.

She's in tears and is taking on oxygen.

  12. Postpublished at 14:16 BST 12 September 2021

    Chelsea 4-0 Everton

Two games, and now what certainly looks like two defeats for Everton.

Having recruited extensively and made a lot of their Champions League ambitions this season, two heavy defeats is a grim way to start the campaign.

  13. Postpublished at 14:14 BST 12 September 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Man Utd

Encouraging signs for Leicester. Tash Flint flashes an effort at Mary Earps and it's palmed away by the Man Utd goalkeeper.

There's an injury on the edge of the box too. It looks like Millie Turner is down in some discomfort.

  14. 'It was gifted to England'published at 14:12 BST 12 September 2021

    Chelsea 4-0 Everton

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Sport

What a strike from Erin Cuthbert. If Beth England feels a little hard done by after being sidelined from last week's performance, then this one was gifted to her. She was goal side and on the front foot. Chelsea have created too many chances second half from Everton's perspective.

    Reading 0-0 Arsenal

No-one has touched the ball more than Frida Maanum - 14 in the opening 10 minutes.

Reading have weathered the early Gunners storm and inexperienced keeper Rhiannon Stewart has had just the one save to make.

The hosts are starting to settle.

    Leicester 0-0 Man Utd

A reminder of Jess Sigsworth's pace for the Man Utd fans.

She beats Millie Turner to a long ball but fires it over the bar.

There's a terrific noise around the King Power.

Bright start from Man Utd. Ella Toone drives through the middle and sets up Kirsty Hanson but there's little power on the shot.

    Reading 0-0 Arsenal

    How have Arsenal not scored?

After Vivianne Miedema has a goal-bound shot blocked inside the box, unmarked Katie McCabe wastefully heads wide from close range.

One-way traffic in the opening exchanges.
