It's been a brilliant first half from West Ham and a really entertaining match.

Emiliano Martinez was in Argentina earlier this week.

He flew out to see his father, who was in hospital having an operation, before being back in training for Villa on Friday.

Martinez was training at Argentina FA HQ in between hospital visits.

They have come before their line of defence and that is what will frustrate the Aston Villa boss Dean Smith.

This is only the second time a Premier League match between Aston Villa and West Ham United has had three goals in a first half.

The last was 15 January 1994 when Aston Villa led West Ham 2-1 at the break.

Villa won 3-1 that day with Dalian Atkinson scoring twice.

Ezri Konsa just about gets a head onto Matt Targett's corner but it's well wide. It was very difficult to do anything with that.
