    Bristol City 0-1 Man City

Oh that is special from Ellen White.

Georgia Stanway plays the striker through and with the ball dropping over her shoulder White volleys it into the top corner.

She's flagged for offside though. Such a shame.

A missed penalty, a goal and plenty of chances.

Not a bad half at Walton Hall Park.

    Caroline Weir (11 mins)

    It had been coming.

Wave after wave of City attack and finally it's Scotland's Caroline Weir who breaks the deadlock, passing the ball beyond Vixens keeper Sophie Baggaley from 10 yards out.

    Eveton 0-1 Chelsea

Back in the side and almost a goal for Scotland international Erin Cuthbert.

The Chelsea midfielder latches onto a loose ball before smashing an effort against the top of the crossbar.

    Keeper was beaten.

    Emily Murphy (9 mins)

Deadlock broken in Dagenham and it's the visitors who have the lead.

Claudia Walker's shot from a corner was blocked but fell perfectly for Emily Murphy to drill home the rebound from eight yards for her first WSL goal for Birmingham.

Agree Tish! She's so good on the ball and is nearly in again until a wall of Everton defenders are finally able to dispossess her.

    Five minutes until half-time.

    Everton 0-1 Chelsea

Less than 10 minutes to go until half-time and it's all Chelsea.

Ji So-yun is the latest to have a go but her shot on the edge of the area lacks power.

Only a matter of time before Chelsea double their advantage I reckon.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:35 GMT 17 March 2021

    Bristol City 0-0 Man City

All Man City in the opening exchanges with forward Chloe Kelly sending in a delicious corner which is only just headed away.

The Vixens are yet to have a touch in City's half. One-way traffic.

  10. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 19:33 GMT 17 March 2021

    Everton 0-1 Chelsea

Pernille Harder thinks she has Chelsea's second, finding the bottom corner with a fierce effort.

But the forward was offside in the build-up. Easy decision.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:29 GMT 17 March 2021

    Everton 0-1 Chelsea

So nearly 2-0 Chelsea. A Joanna Andersson corner eventually drops to the feet of Pernille Harder.

The Denmark forward strikes the ball perfectly but her effort is straight at Korpela.

Another top save from Everton's keeper.

    Bottom of WSLImage source, .

Bristol City's recent upturn in league form, with seven points from a possible 12, has certainly made the battle to avoid relegation much more interesting.

That run has lifted the Robins off the bottom of the table - although they may not be expecting much from this evening's visit of title-chasing Manchester City.

In turn, that presents an opportunity for the other sides in danger to give themselves some breathing space.

Third-from-bottom Aston Villa host mid-table Brighton at the Banks's Stadium, while West Ham will be looking for victory over Birmingham which will not only see them climb off the bottom but leapfrog the currently fourth-from-bottom Blues in the process.

Both the Hammers and Blues have taken only one point from their past five games.

  15. Scintillating Man City hoping for 10 wins in a rowpublished at 19:24 GMT 17 March 2021

Bristol City v Man City (19:30 GMT)

Title-chasers Manchester City will hope to extend their fine form away to Bristol City at Twerton Park.

Gareth Taylor's side start tonight just two points off Chelsea in second with eight games remaining in the WSL season.

City have won each of their last nine WSL games, but I'm not expecting an 8-1 City victory like the reverse fixture back in November.

Bristol City's three victories from their past six games have seen the Vixens rise off the bottom of the table for the first time since December.

This could be an intriguing affair.

    Everton 0-1 Chelsea

Everton are enjoying a nice spell of possession but aren't able to pull off that final ball.

Chelsea have no problems in the final third though, and Kerr again puts in Kirby who slices an effort just wide.

She scored two in the League Cup final, and she's got one here tonight.

Fran Kirby is sent through by Sam Kerr and the England international makes no mistake, slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Everton keeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela had no chance.

  20. CLOSE!published at 19:14

    Everton 0-0 Chelsea

Blink and you'll miss this Chelsea team. Out of nowhere Pernille Harder gets in behind and smashes a cross across the face of goal.

Only needed a touch. Another big chance falls the way of the visitors.
