  1. Ryan Fraserpublished at 18:21 BST 7 September 2020

    Bournemouth - Newcastle (Free)

PL appearances: 120 PL goals: 16 PL assists: 26

If you're going to sign Ant, you may as well get Dec as well.

Newcastle have managed to partner Callum Wilson with his own former sidekick, landing winger Ryan Fraser on a free.

The Scot's form perhaps understandably nosedived last season when he failed to pick up a much-rumoured move to Arsenal but if he can find his best touch, and link up with Wilson like the good old days, then Steve Bruce may have struck gold.

  2. Aaron Ramsdalepublished at 18:21 BST 7 September 2020

    Bournemouth - Sheffield United (£18.5m)

    Sheffield United

    Aaron Ramsdale

PL appearances: 37 PL goals: 0 PL assists: 1

Dean Henderson had two fine years at Sheffield United but once it became clear he would not be returning for a third Chris Wilder had a problem on his hands.

The solution? Bringing Ramsdale back to Bramall Lane. Wilder sold him to Bournemouth in 2017 and will be hoping that his one year in the Premier League will mean a smooth transition.

  3. Joe Hartpublished at 18:21 BST 7 September 2020

    Burnley - Tottenham (Free)

    Tottenham Hotspur

    Joe HartImage source, Reuters

PL appearances: 340 PL goals: 0 PL assists: 1

It's another Premier League club where the former England number one won't play - but a no-brainer for both parties here, right?

  4. Willianpublished at 18:20 BST 7 September 2020

    Chelsea - Arsenal (Free)

    Arsenal

    Willian

PL appearances: 234 PL goals: 37 PL assists: 33

Arsenal have lost a few players down the years thanks to a policy of not giving the over-30s long contracts and now they seem to have profited from a similar stance at Chelsea.

Willian may have been allowed to leave thanks to Frank Lampard's signings of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech but Willian remains a proven performer at 32.

  5. Rodrigopublished at 18:20 BST 7 September 2020

    Valencia - Leeds (£26m)

    Leeds United

    RodrigoImage source, BBC Sport

PL appearances: 17 PL goals: 1 PL assists: 1

Nothing says 'welcome back to the Premier League' quite like breaking your transfer record on an exotic striker.

Leeds created chances galore in the past few seasons, with Patrick Bamford missing as many as he took. Will Rodrigo - Spain's starting striker at the moment - be the reliable answer?

He has Premier League experience thanks to a loan at Bolton as a youngster and his record in Spain has been up and down. We shall see.

  6. Mario Leminapublished at 18:20 BST 7 September 2020

    Southampton - Fulham (Loan)

    Fulham

    Mario LeminaImage source, BBC Sport

PL appearances: 46 PL goals: 2 PL assists: 2

Two years ago Fulham came up, spent a king's ransom on some largely unknown players and were relegated by Easter.

This summer they seem to be keeping to players who know the league - and Mario Lemina seems a fairly shrewd signing. He was Southampton's record signing when he landed three years ago and has won Serie A with Juventus.

  7. Ferran Torrespublished at 18:19 BST 7 September 2020

    Valencia - Manchester City (£20.87m)

    Manchester City

    Ferran Torres

    PL appearances: 0

Rapid winger who can play on either side and helps to replace Bayern-bound Leroy Sane. Only 20, but has been compared to a young Cristiano Ronaldo...

  8. Joel Veltmanpublished at 18:19 BST 7 September 2020

    Ajax - Brighton (£900,000)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

    Joel Veltman

    PL appearances: 0

Brighton sold BBC Sport legend Mark Lawrenson to Liverpool for £900,000 39 summers ago.

For the same price they have signed a Netherlands international who can play at right-back or centre-back and who has won three titles and got to the semis of the Champions League and World Cup.

    Good business.

  9. Pierre-Emile Hojbjergpublished at 18:19 BST 7 September 2020

    Southampton - Tottenham (£15m)

    Tottenham Hotspur

    HojbjergImage source, BBC Sport

PL appearances: 109 PL goals: 4 PL assists: 4

Hojbjerg was always going to move on this summer after being stripped of the captaincy when he told the club he wanted to play in the Champions League.

He hasn't got that at Tottenham - not this year anyway. He'll have to settle for the Europa.

  10. Grady Dianganapublished at 18:19 BST 7 September 2020

West Ham - West Brom (£18m)

    West Bromwich Albion

PL appearances: 17 PL goals: 0 PL assists: 1

The reaction of Mark Noble, Mr. West Ham, says it all.

Diangana was a star on loan at The Hawthorns last season and played a big part in their promotion. His signing, along with making the loan move of Matheus Pereira permanent, bodes well for the Albion.

  11. Allanpublished at 18:19 BST 7 September 2020

    Napoli - Everton (£21.7m)

    Everton

    AllanImage source, BBC Sport

    PL appearances: 0

On the day his signing was confirmed, 'Tom Davies' was trending on Twitter which suggests many Evertonians see this as a definite upgrade. The centre of the Toffees midfield was about as solid as the centre of a Rolo last season so a man - the 12th Allan to grace the PL - who played under Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli certainly threatens to be good news.

Everton's past few transfer windows haven't exactly gone to plan, though...

  12. Robin Kochpublished at 18:18 BST 7 September 2020

    Freiburg - Leeds (£11.5m)

    Leeds United

    PL appearances: 0

Leeds may have wanted Ben White but they've got a Germany international centre-back instead, which is no bad back-up plan.

Robin Koch can also play in midfield and has been compared to Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez. Which can't be bad.

  13. Hakim Ziyechpublished at 18:18 BST 7 September 2020

    Ajax - Chelsea (£33m)

    Chelsea

    Hakim ZiyechImage source, BBC Sport

    PL appearances: 0

One that went through a while ago but remains some excellent business for Chelsea - Ziyech was one of the many Ajax players to impress during the run to the last four of the Champions League in 2019.

With Pedro and Willian leaving the club this summer Chelsea have had an overhaul of their attacking options. Ziyech averaged just under a goal every three games in the Netherlands. Should fly.

  14. Kai Havertzpublished at 18:18 BST 7 September 2020

    Bayer Leverkusen - Chelsea (£71m)

    Chelsea

    Kai HavertzImage source, BBC Sport

    PL appearances: 0

    The new Ballack?

This could potentially - potentially - be the most exciting move of the lot. Havertz was a sensation in the Bundesliga last season, scoring 18 goals at the age of 21 and generally looking class.

He can play anywhere behind the striker, deeper in midfield, or even as a striker if needs be. Weaknesses look to be few and far between - but that is an awful lot of money...

  15. Matt Dohertypublished at 18:18 BST 7 September 2020

    Wolves - Tottenham (£15m)

    Tottenham Hotspur

    Matt Doherty

PL appearances: 75 PL goals: 8 PL assists: 8

On the face of it, an absolute bargain. Wolves seemed to let one of their best players leave easily this summer - time will tell if they made the right call.

A different sort of right-back to Serge Aurier, Doherty is used to playing as a wing-back to a regimented back three. Will Jose allow him to play as far up the pitch as he's used to?

  16. Marcalpublished at 18:17 BST 7 September 2020

    Lyon - Wolves (£1.78m)

    Wolves

    PL appearances: 0

Proof that there are bargains to be had, Marcal was playing in a Champions League semi-final just a few weeks ago.

A left-back who can also play in a back three, he looks to be a very decent purchase indeed.

  17. Nathan Akepublished at 18:17 BST 7 September 2020

    Bournemouth - Manchester City (£40m)

    Manchester City

    Nathan Ake

PL appearances: 146 PL goals: 12 PL assists: 6

There wasn't one reason why Manchester City were blown away by Liverpool in the title race last year but not replacing Vincent Kompany would be high up on the list.

A year on they have signed a new centre-half and a dependable one at that. A transfer where everyone seems to do well - Bournemouth double their money and City get a Dutch international who can play.

  18. Mohammed Salisupublished at 18:15 BST 7 September 2020

    Real Valladolid - Southampton (£10.9m)

    Southampton

    Mohammed Salisu

    PL appearances: 0

I know as much about Mohammed Salisu as I do about hang-gliding - he's had precisely one season in La Liga.

Here's what Ralph Hasenhuttl had to say about the centre-half.

"He is young and has a great amount of potential, but he is also someone who has the qualities to come in and help the team as soon as he is up to speed with our way of playing."

  19. Kostas Tsimikaspublished at 18:15 BST 7 September 2020

    Olympiakos - Liverpool (£11.7m)

    Liverpool

    Kostas Tsimikas

    PL appearances: 0

When you've won the league by a mile you don't need drastic surgery and Liverpool's transfer business has again been quiet. When Norwich said no to a bid for left-back Jamal Lewis Liverpool went Greek.

Tsimikas was outstanding in the Europa League against both Arsenal and Wolves. He might not play much, but it should mean that James Milner won't have to play left-back again.

  20. Harrison Reedpublished at 18:15 BST 7 September 2020

    Southampton - Fulham (£6m)

    Fulham

PL appearances: 17 PL goals: 0 PL assists: 0

A low-risk move for Fulham - Reed made 24 appearances in the Championship while on loan with the club last year.
