It's that time of year again (well, a bit later than normal) - the Premier League's return is on the horizon. The whole world is upside down at the moment and the transfer window doesn't actually shut until next month, but what have you made of business so far?

NOT EVERY signing is listed below, but most of them are. In no particular order.

We want you to give each move a thumbs up or a thumbs down depending on what you think of the move - for the buying club.

Newcastle United

It must have been a strange few weeks for left-back Jamal Lewis as Norwich turned down a bid from the champions Liverpool and then decided to sell him after all. Still, he looks happy enough.

Jurgen Klopp's loss is Steve Bruce's gain - Newcastle's best transfer window since...?

Everton

As mentioned elsewhere in this list, Everton's midfield was a major area of concern on Merseyside and it's fair to say the club have gone a long way to addressing it.

A proper all-round central midfielder who can defend and get forward and score, Doucoure looks to be a very good pick-up for not a massive amount of money. Agree?

Sheffield United

He's not 20 until next week but Sheffield United will be Ethan Ampadu's fourth club, and a chance at last for regular football for the Wales international.

At home in defence or midfield, expect Ampadu to fill in where needed for Chris Wilder's side. Chris Basham can't go on forever - right?

Everton

PL appearances: 0

What a coup from Everton. How many World Cup Golden Boot winners rock up at Goodison?*

James may have lost his way a bit since joining Real for £63m after his scene-stealing displays in Brazil six years ago, but at 29 there should be plenty of football under the bonnet just yet.

He's played under Carlo Ancelotti before and the Everton boss must have played a huge part in landing the Colombian.

Will we see a change from Carlo's preferred 4-4-2 to fit him in?

Chelsea

In a side containing plenty of youth and potential, has Frank Lampard done some very smart business here?

Thiago Silva is fast appoaching his 36th birthday but he is a proven winner. He's won the league title in eight of the past 10 seasons he's played. He may not play every week but he can surely be relied upon.

Wolves

PL appearances: 0

An almost total unknown and yet the seventh most-expensive teenager in history.

This striker has only scored three times in his career but the 18-year-old is hugely rated. Wolves don't get many wrong, but is this a gamble?

Leicester City

PL appearances: 0

A tough gig to replace Ben Chilwell at Leicester, but Castagne looks a good buy, especially as he can play on the right as well.

The 24-year-old is a Belgium international and has Champions League experience under his belt.

Chelsea

PL appearances: 0

Nobody told Chelsea there was a global pandemic and mass economic uncertainty around - they have been making up for lost time.

Frank Lampard won much praise for working with what he had last season but this summer he's been improving every area of his team. Werner is 24 and very much the real deal, scoring 28 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances last season.

Defences should be afraid.

Newcastle United

It's not quite AC Milan, external but it's not a bad move for Jeff Hendrick.

Whether or not he was ever close to a move to the Italian giants will remain a mystery, but for free he's a sensible addition to the Newcastle ranks.

Southampton

PL appearances: 22 PL goals: 0 PL assists: 5

Spent the second half of last season on loan at the Saints and excelled. Should do again now he's made the switch permanent.

Brighton & Hove Albion

PL appearances: 196 PL goals: 30 PL assists: 28

It's not often you get a title-winning, Champions League-winning England international on a free. Lallana is only 32 and while he hasn't played all too often in the past few years for Liverpool, he is surely an excellent signing. Offsets the loss of Aaron Mooy nicely.

Chelsea

PL appearances: 0

Not the most high-profile summer signing for Chelsea, or the most well-known - but he's free, he's 21 and he's already played over 100 league games at the top level in France.

Nice, indeed.

Crystal Palace

He's never played at this level but prepare to be excited Palace fans. Eze had 41 shots on target for QPR last year in the Championship, and laid on 83 chances for his team-mates, bagging eight assists.

Should take some of the load off Wilf Zaha's shoulders.

Chelsea

PL appearances: 99 PL goals: 4 PL assists: 9

Certainly not cheap, but a proper left-back. England's first-choice full-back gets a chance to kick on among Frank Lampard's exciting new team.

Aston Villa

PL appearances: 0

Cash started out as a midfieler before being converted into an attacking right-back and he should be a solid addition for Villa.

Forest have generated some decent transfer fees from their homegrown talent in recent years.

Arsenal

Young, left-footed, and fast. Three big ticks for this Brazilian centre-back who already has Champions League experience.

Arsenal fans will hope he does better than the last Gabriel.

Manchester United

Another gem to fly the Ajax nest, on paper this looks to be a very good piece of business for Manchester United.

Versatile, DVDB has played as a 10 and deeper in midfield, and has already scored at Tottenham and Chelsea. Gives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer options.

Fulham

PL appearances: 0

The second fairly unlikely player in this list who was heavily linked with a move to AC Milan, it's the Cottage instead for left-back Antonee Robinson.

For £2m you could barely buy a flat in Fulham so a defender with international caps for the United States to his name seems a shrewd purchase.

Newcastle United

Now we're talking. The much-discussed takeover at Newcastle never came to fruition but something has changed. Callum Wilson was being talked about as a £50m+ striker not so long ago and looks to be a superb get.

Injuries have been an issue for the England international but he's arrived for half a Joelinton. A Joel.

Keep him fit and he'll score goals. Right?
