Accies keeper Luke Southwood is taking no chances as he pushes away a wind-assisted cross from Niall McGinn that was dipping towards the top corner of his net.

Referee Greg Aitken gets more stick from the stands as a Hamilton defender clearly nods the ball out from a corner and the befuddled official signals a goal-kick.

At least he's being even-handed with his blunders.

  3. CLOSE!published at 53 mins

    Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeen

Much better from Hamilton now as David Moyo curls in a cross from the left and Marios Ogmkpoe glances a header just wide.

A corner is given, which is frankly ridiculous. Referee Greg Aitken and his assistants have made a few odd calls this evening.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 50 mins

    Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeen

More outrage from the home supporters as Andrew Considine sends Aaron McGowan flying into the air with a late lunge. A booking follows for the Aberdeen defender and Hamilton can't conjure anything up from the free kick.

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 48 mins

    Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeen

The home fans want a penalty as Scott McKenna cuts off a cross. It looked like the giant defender got his strapping chest on the ball, with his arms down by his side.

Here we go again. Can the home side grab a goal and make this a contest?

  7. Double change for struggling Acciespublished at 20:46 GMT 11 February 2020

    HT: Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeen

Accies are not hanging about. With one sub already used, Will Collar and David Moyo will be on when we resume.

David Templeton and Sam Woods are the men being withdrawn as the hosts chase an unlikely comeback.

Curtis Main is holding it up, he's scored a goal, he had a hand in the McGinn goal. You couldn't really ask for more. He'll think this is his big chance and he's taking it.

It's quite incredible, from nowhere Aberdeen look like every time they go up the park they are going to cause Hamilton problems.

  10. HALF-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeenpublished at 45+6 mins

Crisis? What crisis? Aberdeen are banging in the goals and heading for third spot in the Premiership.

Loud boos from the angry home fans as the half-time whistle sounds.

Curtis Main got the ball rolling with a nice lobbed finish, Niall McGinn drilled one in and Connor McLennan has just added a fine, controlled header.

The visitors are brimming with confidence after a five-game streak without a goal.

    Connor McLennan

A second assist of the evening for Andrew Considine, who takes a throw-in and is then given the freedom of South Lanarkshire to receive the ball back and plant a good cross on to the head of Connor McLennan, who nips in ahead of his man and glances it home.

    Game over, surely?

Still nothing really happening for Accies. Marios Ogkmpoe started the game well, winning a few headers, but the big striker has been starved of service.

Maybe Brian Rice is using his walkie-talkie thing to listen to Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland, since the home side have now switched to a back three, with Alex Gogic dropping back from his initial midfield beat.

The back four aren't working as a unit at all. I don't think Hamilton at home should be as exposed as they have been. There are big spaces there waiting to be exploited.

The wind is picking up but Aberdeen are doing a good job of keeping the ball, confidently zipping passes around on the slick artificial surface.

Accies, who desperately need the next goal, just haven't got going at all.

After a long period of treatment, Brian Easton is finally on his feet as he makes his way off the pitch without the aid of that stretcher.

The manager had a big call to make, dropped his top goalscorer and brought someone in who a lot of fans didn't believe had it in him and it's worked a treat. I'm sure that will be recognised. Managers are paid to make big calls, that was a big call and so far it's worked.
