Vital goal for the Championship leaders.

Quote MessageAberdeen's best chance. Connor McLennan lacked belief, he's got to be more positive, he's one-on-one in the penalty box and has to test the defender.
Celtic 0-0 Aberdeen
Bright start to the second period from Aberdeen! Dominic Ball has a go but his shot is saved by Scott Bain. That's a couple of nice moves now by the visitors.
Celtic 0-0 Aberdeen
Aberdeen winger Connor McLennan had space to shoot in the Celtic box there, but he's waiting to shift it on to his right and the ball is snatched away from him. His dithering has cost him a good chance there.
Partick Thistle 1-0 Dundee United

Quote MessageBizarre circumstances here at Firhill. The players have been out kicking balls about for two minutes but there's no sign of the referee or linesmen. After five minutes they decide to appear.
Celtic 0-0 Aberdeen
There's a flurry of substitutions here. For Aberdeen, young midfielder Dean Campbell comes on for James Wilson, while Celtic take off Scott Sinclair and Ewan Henderson for Odsonne Edouard and Mikey Johnston.
Will any of this make a difference?
Craig Sibaald
Wow. Folk are barely back in their seats as Craig Sibbald heads in Scott Robinson's cross. Livi have turned it around at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Quote MessageThere's more to come. If Accies are not careful they could get an absolute drubbing here.

Motherwell have completely controlled this first half and they've been a joy to watch at times. Ariyibi’s pace and skill has been key to the demolition of their local rivals.
How do Accies turn this around? Motherwell will be aware not to take their feet off the gas for the second half.

Image source, BBC SportLeaders Ross County and second-place Dundee United are, at the moment, failing to capitalise on defeat for third-place Ayr United last night.
It could be a big win for Partick Thistle though in their quest for survival, especially with that 2-0 victory for Falkirk against Ayr last night.
Image source, BBC SportThis could get embarrassing for Hamilton.
Liam Grimshaw gets past his man on the right all too easily, sends the ball across for David Turnbull who heads over from a yard out.
You feel though his hat-trick is coming. It is chance after chance for the home side.
Turnbull had two within the first 11 minutes, before a well-worked goal opened Hamilton up and Jake Hastie added a third.
The visitors have offered little in response.

Set-pieces have been key in this one, with Joe Shaughnessy's opener from a corner cancelled out by Craig Halkett's header, after the Livingston centre-back stayed forward at a free-kick.
Image source, SNSCeltic have had the better of this one but have nothing to show for it. Kristoffer Ajer has come closest for Celtic, indeed he had the ball in the net but was offside.
He also thundered a shot towards goal after a fabulous run, but Joe Lewis saved well. All to play for, as they say!
Image source, SNSHearts preserve their lead until the interval. They've been good value for it, having been in control since taking the lead against the run of play.
Dundee started well but have faded and they have their work cut out if they are to take something from this match and put pressure on Hamilton and St Mirren.

Ajer nods in from a free-kick but he's well offside. That's a let off for Aberdeen. It would have been a sickener just before the break.
Celtic 0-0 Aberdeen
Kieran Tierney crosses for James Forrest, who sweeps a shot at the Aberdeen goal- it's straight at Joe Lewis though. Better from Celtic.
