    Dundee United 0-1 Inverness CT

BBC Sportsound pundit John Rankin: I want to see the two Dundee United full-backs higher up the pitch because they are very, very narrow at the moment. They can't get the ball into the striker as a result.

  11. Tough at the toppublished at 16:06

    Dundee United 0-1 Inverness CT

BBC Scotland's Jane Lewis at Tannadice: Dundee Utd manager Robbie Neilson is in and out of his seat in the dugout - at times very animated on the touchline. He looks to be telling his players to keep the ball on the deck. His opposite number John Robertson hasn't taken a seat yet and is being just as vocal...

  14. Doran the differencepublished at 15:59

BBC Sportsound pundit John Rankin: Aaron Doran, for me, is the difference so far. Every time he gets the ball he's positive and tries to take someone on.

    Joe Chalmers

It's been coming. Inverness CT are rewarded for their attacking intent with a goal of stunning quality. A slick passing move sees the ball played out to Joe Chalmers on the right, he collects his thoughts before arrowing a superb shot into the top corner.

Benjamin Siegrist wouldn't have saved that even if he was standing on top of a set of stepladders.

  18. 'Aberdeen turned it into a war' - Gerrardpublished at 15:51

    FT: Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard gave his reaction to Premier Sport: "I think it’s probably fair in the end. Aberdeen were better first half, they turned it into a match full of competing, a bit of a war. I was disappointed at half-time and I asked for a reaction. Credit to the players second half, it was much better. I thought it was the least we deserved."

Steven Gerrard was happier with Rangers' second-half display at Ibrox

Gerrardwas also unhappy with the state of the Pittodrie pitch: "Aberdeen trained on the pitch yesterday and it hadn’t been rolled, it hadn’t been cut, it was windy, there was a lot of ball in the air. And Aberdeen are really effective at turning games physical. Second half we matched them more.

"Now we've got a full Ibrox [for the replay], I'm sure they'll be behind us, we've got a better pitch, a bigger pitch and hopefully we can play more like Rangers next time."

  19. Visitors pressing for openerpublished at 16 mins

Inverness CT boss John Robertson, deep in tactical thought on the touchline, will be the happier of the two managers.

His side are causing Robbie Neilson's troops all sorts of problems, but it remains goalless.

With Dundee United goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist way off his line, Inverness CT's Liam Polworth can't capitalise with an attempted chip.
