  4. 'He bought it'published at 17:02

    Dundee United 1-1 Inverness CT

BBC Sportsound pundit John Hughes: Soft penalty, Paul McMullan bought it. Steven McLean loves to give a penalty. It's 50-50, you can see why he gave it but I don't think there's enough in it. If you know the game, you know what McMullan is trying to do and I don't think there's enough physical contact for that to be a stonewall penalty.

  19. 'We were good value to win the game' - McInnespublished at 16:31

    FT: Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes was "disappointed" his team weren't able to beat Rangers after taking an 11th-minute lead in their 1-1 draw earlier today.

"We've lost a goal from a set-play - that and the fact we haven't scored a second goal were the only disappointments," he told BBC Scotland.

Derek McInnes says his Aberdeen side paid dearly for conceding from a set-piece

"We had better chances, more pressure on Rangers' goal than was on our own. Although they had a lot of possession between centre-backs in their own half, we were very good in terms of them not opening us up and having too many chances.

"We set out to try to be as attacking as we can, we broke well, looked after the ball in certain areas, and I thought we were good value to win the game."

BBC Scotland's Jane Lewis at Tannadice: "John Robertson remonstrating with the fourth official after he felt Coll Donaldson was sent sprawling just before half time. He wasn't happy at all as referee Steven McLean waved play on. At half-time ICT deserve their lead and for the most part have been the better side.

"They are controlling the midfield and the goal was a terrific strike."
