    Ipswich 0-1 West Brom

Ipswich put together their best move of the game - with plenty of fluid passing - but look a bit toothless in the final third.

Anyway... they win a free-kick out wide in a promising position.

If you're at a Premier League or EFL ground in the next week or so, you'll probably spot some rainbow livery around the stadium.

It's all to do with Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign, supporting LGBT inclusivity in football.

It's being backed by all EFL clubs, with captain's armbands, corner flags and substitution boards also changing to rainbow colours for the next couple of rounds of fixtures.

    Ipswich 0-1 West Brom

The game's certainly opened up now.

Ipswich midfielder Flynn Downes is a brave man. He goes to ground in his own penalty area but the tackle on Harvey Barnes is perfectly-timed.

  4. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 West Brom

This is the first time Ipswich have been behind under Paul Lambert - how will they react?

West Brom look mischievous going forward, but Ipswich string a few passes together and Jordan Roberts wins a corner for the hosts.

  5. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 0-1 West Brompublished at 26 mins

    Jay Rodriguez

West Brom lead and it's Jay Rodriguez who stays on the move to give himself a tap-in.

Having overhit an initial cross, left-back Kieran Gibbs gets himself into position to head a Matt Phillips ball across goal for ex-Southampton striker Rodriguez to score.

Ipswich looked slow to react at each stage of that move and are behind.

  6. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Oh dear - a proper defender's finish from Ahmed Hegazi.

West Brom get yet another deep free-kick which falls to him around eight yards out, but the Egypt centre-back slashes at the ball and it flies wide.

A big opening for the Baggies, falling to the wrong man.

  7. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Ipswich want keeper Bartosz Bialkowski to play his goal kicks short but West Brom are pushing up so high that he's having to kick long towards Jordan Roberts, who isn't the biggest.

The Baggies are growing into this nicely - remember a win would put them second in the table.

  8. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Right on cue West Brom pile forward on the counter.

Jay Rodriguez shows great awareness to flick the ball to England Under-21 forward Harvey Barnes, who drags wide from an angle.

The Baggies can be very dangerous.

Still goalless in League One between Coventry and Peterborough, by the way.

    Darren MooreImage source, Rex Features

After a few encouraging minutes for Ipswich, the visitors enjoy a spell of possession and look to lower the tempo.

West Brom haven't been the quickest of starters this season so boss Darren Moore won't be too concerned - he knows there are plenty of goals in his side.

  10. CLOSE!published at 13 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Left-back Jonas Knudsen has a swing on the half-volley from range and it's not a million miles away.

Sam Johnstone has it covered in the West Brom goal but it gets some oohs and errs from the Ipswich fans.

Hal Robson-Kanu has looked bright in these opening few minutes, following on from his positive performance against Leeds.

The Wales forward scored in a 4-1 win over Leeds before the international break.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

West Brom play a long pass forward and Hal-Robson Kanu is brought down as he tries to turn away from Matthew Pennington.

The on-loan Everton defender becomes the first man in the book for Ipswich, but the free-kick comes to nothing.

    Paul LambertImage source, Rex Features

Paul Lambert's body language is very positive on the touchline - plenty of clapping and the occasional thumbs up for his Ipswich players.

They've started reasonably well here and need to keep the sizeable crowd entertained.

  14. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

The visitors have the first attempt on goal from a corner.

West Brom's James Morrison win the first header and it falls to Jay Rodriguez, who nods over the bar.

It all came about because Ipswich midfielder Flynn Downes was caught on the ball in midfield.

  15. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Both sides attempting to play out from the back in the opening couple minutes.

West Brom end up overplaying a ball out for a goal kick, and Ipswich don't look too comfortable either.

    Lots of harrying and pressing.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

We're off and running under the lights at a busier than usual Portman Road.

Ipswich have used Black Friday to lower ticket prices and it certainly seems to have paid off as they look for a first home win of the season.

As well as this game we'll also be keeping tabs on Peterborough's trip to Coventry in League One, which is also getting under way now.

West Brom have scored eight more goals than any other side in the Championship, but also conceded the most of any team in the top 14.

Darren Moore's side ended a rocky four-game winless spell with a 4-1 thrashing of Leeds before the international break, leaving them fifth in the table.

Victory at Portman Road tonight would move the Baggies into an automatic promotion spot.
