  1. Hopes for better in Hamiltonpublished at 15:58 GMT 3 November 2018

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Livingston

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland at Hope Stadium

Both sides will be looking for better in the second half - particularly Hamilton, who have managed to create only one chance of note.

Livingston have created a few half chances but failed to take them by either firing wide or delaying in shooting.

  2. Christie earning new deal?published at 15:57 GMT 3 November 2018

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been impressed by Ryan Christie of late - easy to forget that just a few weeks ago the young Scotland international was cutting a forlorn figure on the fringes of the squad, barely getting a game.

But he’s muscled up his physicality and his performances have improved and just in time - he’s entering the final year of his contract but Rodgers tells me Christie is a player Celtic are keen to keep.

    HT: Motherwell 0-0 Dundee

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

It’s been short on quality this match and goal-scoring opportunities have been scarce.

The way things have been going for them, Dundee will be happier with their performance and would probably see a point from the game as a good one.

But let’s hope for a bit better in the second period.

Craig Levein said that if his side were to be considered serious title contenders then this had to be a match they should aim to win.

On this evidence, they are not serious title contenders given how utterly dominant Celtic have been.

Of course Hearts are missing several major players, but they have simply been unable to threaten Celtic.

The champions' form continues to impress. In truth, they have not needed to go up through the gears and yet they have utterly bossed the first half.

The second half looks ominous for the visitors.

  7. Rangers showed 'good patience' - Gerrardpublished at 15:52 GMT 3 November 2018

    FT: St Mirren 0-2 Rangers

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard was less than impressed by his team's first-half display against St Mirren earlier, but he's purring with delight after a much-improved second 45 minutes.

"In the second half, we played with more freedom and more belief," he tells Sky Sports. "The conditions helped us do that.

"Teams are going to try and make it difficult for us, get numbers behind the ball without showing much attacking ambition. The onus is on us to break them down. I thought we showed good patience.

"We might have got a bit of luck with the first one, although Daniel Candeias is saying he meant it. I'm not so sure. But we'll take it."

  8. HALF-TIME Motherwell 0-0 Dundeepublished at 15:51 GMT 3 November 2018

It's been lively, with Dundee hitting the woodwork early on. The home side were just beginning to turn the screw as the first half came to a close, but neither goalkeeper has been overworked.

  9. HALF-TIME- Celtic 3-0 Heart of Midlothianpublished at 15:49 GMT 3 November 2018

It's been a dominant show from the reigning champions, who hold a comfortable lead at the break over the Premiership leaders.

Odsonne Edouard got things going with a tremendous 20 yard strike and tapped in the third just before half-time. In between, Croatian defender Filip Benkovic headed in the second goal.

Hearts have been surprisingly poor and already it looks as though their lead at the top of the table will be cut to one point by the end of the afternoon.

  10. HALF-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:48 GMT 3 November 2018

Livingston have had the better of the opening 45 minutes and Jack McMillan in particular should have given them the lead.

But it's still goalless in Hamilton.

  11. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:48 GMT 3 November 2018

A pretty even and turgid half at Easter Road.

Hibs have had plenty of possession but haven't done a great deal with it in the final third.

Daryl Horgan, Marti Boyle and Emerson Hyndman have all shot off-target from outside the box.

St Johnstone have come closest to an opener through Tristan Nydam, whose vicious, bending effort from some 20 yards cracked the crossbar.

  13. Hearts beating themselves?published at 15:46 GMT 3 November 2018

    Celtic 3-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

"Celtic are absolutely flying. I'm surprised Hearts haven't changed the way they've set up.

"You'd expect Hearts to come here and put up a more convincing performance. How do you play against a rampant Celtic team - you need to get into their face.

"When you set up the way Hearts have as a defensive unit, I'm not sure it's the right way to respond to Celtic at home.

"You've got to have something else in your armoury to get you up the pitch and Hearts haven't created anything in open play."

  14. HOW DID HE MISS?published at 15:44 GMT 3 November 2018

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Livingston

Livingston should be ahead. Ricki Lamie stabs the ball across goal into the path of Jack McMillan, who needs to just knock the ball into an empty net.

But his first touch is awful and Hamilton clear.

We expected this to be a tough, tight contest and so far that’s been the case.

Livi with a couple of half chances, but the best opportunity fell to Accies through Fredrik Brustad.

But, when one-on-one with Liam Kelly, the visiting goalkeeper was up to the task with a fine save.
