  1. goal

    GOALpublished at 16:17 BST 27 October 2018

    Glentoran 3-0 Ards

That's surely the points wrapped up for the Glens now as captain Marcus Kane nets the third to surely put the game beyond Ards.

It was a cracking strike from Kane, who pinged a volley beyond a helpless Johnston and into the top corner. It's turning out to be a hugely satisfying afternoon for Ronnie McFall's men.

  2. Slow start to second halfpublished at 16:15 BST 27 October 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Clifonville

It's been rather more low key so far in the second half at Coleraine. Levi Ives has a few early opportunity to whip in free-kicks which amount to nothing.

It might be cold but the sun is still out in full force with Cliftonville playing towards it. Expect Coleraine to launch a high ball or two before it goes down.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:14 BST 27 October 2018

    Ballymena Utd 1-0 Crusaders

Crusaders are lumping it into the box but with little impact and it's Ballymena who threaten first in the second half with Adam Lecky's blistering shot kept out by an alert Sean O'Neill.

  4. goal

    GOALpublished at 16:13 BST 27 October 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Linfield

    Poor Jake Dykes.

He's turned a Niall Quinn cross into his own net to bring the Blues level.

  6. Blues shaping up to come backpublished at 16:12 BST 27 October 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 1-0 Linfield

Looks like Linfield boss David Healy has tweaked their shape and gone to three at the back, with Kirk Millar and Niall Quinn playing as wing-backs.

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:10 BST 27 October 2018

    Glentoran 2-0 Ards

Good sign of intent from substitute Michael McLellan, who beats his man before unleashing a right-footed drive that flies just beyond the post. That was encouraging from the away side.

  8. O'Connor on for injured Kearnspublished at 16:09 BST 27 October 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 1-0 Linfield

Michael O'Connor comes on up front as Daniel Kearns is forced off with an injury.

  9. WIDE!published at 16:07 BST 27 October 2018

    Glentoran 2-0 Ards

McDaid wins a free-kick right on the edge of the Ards penalty area. Allen, fancying a second, pulls rank though and fires it wide. Decently struck but lacking accuracy. Glens starting the second half the way they ended the first.

  10. End-to-end at the Showgroundspublished at 16:03 BST 27 October 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Cliftonville

Gormley smashes the crossbar and Brush keeps out McCauley in a lively first 45 at the Showgrounds.

Crusaders have been lacklustre and they can't get in behind the Ballymena defence. They need a change, they need energy.

Dungannon have looked the better side and have strung together a lot more passes. They are winning the midfield battle and I would expect to see a few Linfield changes in the second half.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 BST 27 October 2018

    Warrenpoint Town 0-0 Institute

The deadock remains firrnly intact at Milltown after an uninspiring opening 45 minutes.

  18. Coleraine strike backpublished at 15:49 BST 27 October 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Cliftonville

Darren McCauley halved the deficit before half time.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 BST 27 October 2018

    Ballymena Utd 1-0 Crusaders

Ballymena winger Andy McGrory volleys wide seconds before the whistle blows for the break. A half of few chances but United hold a deserved leave through Adam Lecky's strike.

Crusaders have struggled but they will have a stiff breeze on their backs in the second half.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 BST 27 October 2018

    Glentoran 2-0 Ards

Goals from Allen and McDaid put the Glens in a commanding position heading into half-time. The home side have played some attractive, expansive stuff, with Redman and Davidson particularly prominent.

Ards need an injection of ideas. They have failed to unnerve the home side's defence. Perhaps a few choice words from Nixon during the interval will do the trick.
