Mike: Eriksen unfit or message from Poch to sign the deal?

PVR: Shaqiri not in the team! Klopp already hints what he wants.

Chris: Sissoko finally playing with a bit of confidence and making a role for himself in this team playing in the middle. With the likes of Eriksen and Son to come off the bench it’s looking positive for Spurs tonight

As well as Trent Alexander-Arnold has done in the league, he hasn't done as well in Europe. Jurgen Klopp probably thinks Joe Gomez is better suited to face Neymar than Trent.

Here for a good time, not a long time?

If PSG lose tonight and are eliminated from the CL you have to ask yourself how long stars such as Mbappe and Neymar have left in Paris. With European football (as well as money) being the key pull towards bringing the world's finest to the worlds fifth-best league. Worrying times for Tuchel.

Liverpool reached the final last year, but there is still all to play for in this group, with all four sides still in with a chance of going through.

    • Liverpool will go through if they win at PSG and Red Star do not beat Napoli.
    • Napoli will progress if they beat Red Star and PSG do not beat Liverpool.
    • PSG's chances of a maiden Champions League title will end for another year if they lose to Liverpool and Napoli win.
    • Red Star will not be able to go through if they lose at Napoli.

A draw in Paris would be a good result for Liverpool, for sure. But the group is so tight that every point counts.

Richard Browne: With the inclusion of Henderson you feel Klopp would gladly settle for a draw. I can't say I disagree with him.

ARP: Klopp has gone for grit rather than glamour. A trio of Milner-Hendo-Gini will ensure graft and effort, but will lack flair. Is it enough to see off PSG tonight though?

In all the the talk of Barca, City and Juve I feel as if Atletico Madrid are getting lost in the shuffle as genuine contenders here. The final is at their stadium the Wanda Metropolitano, they have strength in depth and one of the smartest tactical minds out there. If I was a betting man, my money'd be on them.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says it is "painful" that Juan Foyth is ineligible to play in their must-win Champions League game with Inter Milan.

The 20-year-old was not named in Spurs' squad for the competition but has impressed during an injury crisis.

"It's a mistake we made, that at this level of football we cannot repeat," Pochettino said.

The Argentina defender has started Spurs' last three games in the absence of Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen.

"After taking one point from their opening three Champions League matches, Tottenham gave themselves the chance of a 'miracle' qualification for the Champions League knockout phase with victory over PSV three weeks ago.

"Spurs' chances of reaching the last 16 only improved from 15% to 19% according to the Euro Club Index , externalwith that victory over the Dutch champions as two wins in the last two matches are still likely to be required.

"Tottenham probably need to beat Inter by a better scoreline than the 2-1 win the Italian team achieved in September as, even with victory in Barcelona, Tottenham may well need to win the head-to-head tiebreaker against Inter to progress."
