Who will end the evening with bragging rights in west London?

Here is the state of the game at the break.

Brentford probably shading it in terms of chances and what they've done with their possession, but I doubt R's manager Ian Holloway will be too unhappy given his side are on a three-game losing run and have a defensive injury crisis.

The first half ends goalless at Loftus Road in this west London derby.

After a good Bees move, Sergi Canos sends a low cross into the box but Lasse Vibe's effort is blocked by Jack Robinson.

From a throw-in, Sergi Canos turns his marker and bursts forward towards goal.

The Rangers defence can't keep up with him and the Spanish winger fires across goal.

Did R's keeper Alex Smithies get a touch? Referee Steve Martin says no.

The first was under-hit, the second one over-hit by Canos.

Andreas Bjelland picks up the pieces on the right flank but his cross is blocked and Jamie Mackie clears to halfway.

A poor corner from the left is dealt with by the QPR defence. Sergi Canos will get another chance to deliver for the Bees though.

There's a bit of a break in play as Brentford winger Florian Jozefzoon gets some treatment.

He can't continue, and Ollie Watkins comes on to replace him.

It is Barbet who strikes... and it goes over the bar.

A decent hit, but it's too high and doesn't quite dip enough to get on target.

I'm not sure R's keeper Alex Smithies would have got there.

Jamie Mackie joins Luek Freeman in the book.

His poor touch gives a sniff of the ball to Nico Yennaris, and Mackie went in studs up.
