A flurry of Wolfsburg pressure. Three quick corners, pin-ball inside the Gunners area and Brazilian defender Gabriel almost has his head removed after getting in the way of Sebastian Jung's attempt.

I'm not sure we'll hear a bigger noise all game. Arsenal fans are out of their seats to applaud Petr Cech as the keeper holds onto Kevin De Bruyne's low cross.
Comfortable for the new signing but the home fans are keen to make Cech feel at home.

Pre-season games usually mean sunshine and T-shirts. Not at the Emirates. There's plenty of umbrellas on show on a soggy day in the capital.
Some nice early touches by the red and white shirts of Arsenal with Jack Wlshere looking particularly hungry.

There's a 'Welcome To Arsenal Petr Cech' banner on show as the teams make their way out.
A few weeks ago the thought of Cech wearing a Gunners shirt was unheard of but judging by the noise at the Emirates it is very much a welcome sight.

Arsenal can afford to lose against Wolfsburg and still win the tournament - as long as they score. Remember, teams get one point for each goal they score, and the Gunners have a superior goal difference over Villarreal.

It's three points for a win and an additional point for each goal scored. Arsenal started the day with nine points after their six goal thumping of Lyon on Saturday, but Villarreal's 2-0 win over Lyon earlier today means the Spanish team now have 10 points from two games.
Villarreal's goals were scored by Bruno from the penalty spot and Leo Baptistao.
