Rashid is getting first-hand experience of a track on which he will be expected to perform here. Taijul does him all ends up with a ball that pitches middle and leaves him outside off. The rest of the over is patted back. Pressure.

What was good was that the ball was straight and on the money because Woakes played for the turn. Maybe he could have got forward a little more, but even then he was thinking it was going to turn a lot more than it did.

"When I came in the ball was a bit softer but it was still tough. You have to grit your teeth and get used to the pitch.
"From 21-3 we are pretty happy with how we fought back. It was gutsy. If we can bat for an hour this morning it will be decent position to be in."
