Galatasaray free-kick on the left now.

Gabriel Sara whips it in and Lucas Torreira heads over. He was offside in any case.

Some really good defending from Galatasaray as Liverpool pile on the pressure.

Liverpool need a response and some quality to get them back into the game. But who can bring it? They are trying to press high to get the equaliser.

    Galatasaray 1-0 Liverpool

The ball ends up on the roof of the net as Davinson Sanchez slices it clear in a panic... but the whistle had already gone.

Free-kick given for Virgil van Dijk jumping with the goalkeeper. Not much in it but it's not often those aren't given in European games.

Surely that came off Sanchez, and should be a goal?

It's not been quite as open in the second half but, with 15 minutes left, the biggest surprise is that there has still only been one goal in this game.

Liverpool have a free-kick on the left and a chance to change that...

Liverpool have sent on Cody Gakpo for Florian Wirtz and the Dutchman quickly gets involved to start an attack.

Good pressure from the visitors but it comes to an end with a tame left-footed shot from Jeremie Frimpong.

This looks like it should be disallowed. Does it hit Sanchez in the chest? Or Konate in the arm?

GOAL - Galatasaray 1-1 Liverpoolpublished at 70 mins

No one is celebrating but the referee has given a goal for Liverpool...

Actually, looking at the replay, I think this hits Ibrahima Konate's hand so I don't think this will stand.

It was a real mess in there so we'll have to wait and see.

    What a save! Wow.

Uğurcan Çakır stayed on his feet as long as he could which allowed him to push out his right arm. Magnificent.

That could be huge for Galatasaray.

  15. Team news - Kane among the subs for Bayernpublished at 19:11 GMT 10 March

Atalanta v Bayern Munich (20:00 GMT)

Harry Kane has recovered from the calf injury which saw him miss Friday’s 4-1 Bundesliga win over Monchengladbach, but the 32-year-old will start on the Bayern Munich bench in Bergamo with Nicolas Jackson leading the line.

After keeper Manuel Neuer aggravated a calf problem during the first half of his return to action four days ago, 22-year-old Jonas Urbig will return to the line-up in goal from the start.

Atalanta have rung the changes from the side which salvaged a 2-2 Serie A draw, courtesy of two late Gianluca Scamacca goals, against Udinese on Saturday, making six outfield changes.

Atalanta: Carnesecchi; Bernasconi, Hien, Kolasinac, Zappacosta; Pasalic, Sulemana, De Roon, Zalewski; Kristovic, Scamacca.

Subs: Rossi, Sportiello, Kossounou, Bakker, Musah, Samardzic, Bellanova, Djimisiti, Vavassori, Cassa, Ahanor.

Bayern: Urbig; Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Stanisic; Pavlovic, Kimmich; Olise, Gnabry, Luis Diaz; Jackson.

Subs: Ulreich, Prescott, Kim, Goretzka, Kane, Musiala, Davies, Bischof, Guerreiro, Karl.

Hugo Ekitike comes so close to levelling for Liverpool.

The striker intercepts a loose pass, beats the defender and is baring down on goal.

He gets the shot away but it's a very good stop from Ugurcan Cakir to deny him.

Liverpool are very fortunate there. Let out of jail.

    Galatasaray 1-0 Liverpool

Baris Alper Yilmaz was the man adjudged to be offside. He didn't actually touch the ball but was beyond the last defender and initially made a move towards the ball.

He didn't get there, Ibrahima Konate then fluffed his back pass and when the shot was lifted over the goalkeeper, skipped in clearing it off the line.

Huge let off for him and Liverpool.

Well, have Liverpool got away with one?

Galatasaray have the ball in the net after an almighty error - or a comedy of errors - with Ibrahima Konate at the heart of it.

Victor Osimhen puts the ball into an empty net but the offside flag is up.

Those substitutions are the the right move.

Mo Salah has been poor all game and did not look like a threat. Jeremie Frimpong will bring pace.

But as well, Robertson needs to tell Konate to stop wandering and work together.
