Scotstown v St Brigid's
After the euphoria and relief of bridging a 36-year gap in Ulster just before Christmas, Scotstown hope to extend their memorable season when they face St Brigid's in Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final at Breffni Park (15:00 GMT).
Having completed a hat-trick of Monaghan titles in October, Scotstown overcame Donegal's Naomh Conaill and Derry's Newbridge before beating Down kingpins Kilcoo to conquer Ulster for the first time since 1989.
Scotstown's ascension to the All-Ireland series required immense resolve. Three of their past four games (the Monaghan final and the semi-final and final in Ulster) went to extra-time.
Newbridge even took them as far as a penalty shootout, where Scotstown prevailed 4-2 to set up a tight decider with Kilcoo.
And David McCague's side will face a similarly formidable challenge in Cavan on Sunday when they line out against Roscommon's St Brigid's.
The six-time Connacht champions won their only All-Ireland title in 2013, but reached the final as recently as two years ago, losing a tight game 2-10 to 1-12 to Derry's Glen at Croke Park.
St Brigid's won their 19th Roscommon title in a replay against Padraig Pearses and beat Ballina Stephenites (Mayo) and Moycullen (Galway) to return to the national arena.

As expected, the Scotstown team named in the programme has changes prior to throw-in.
Manager David McCague's team had a fairly settled look about throughout their Ulster campaign and that remains the case.
One absentee from their victory over Kilcoo in the Ulster final comes in attack with Tommy Mallen losing his race with injury and must be content with a place on the bench as Nicky Sherlock comes in.
As for St Brigid's, the Roscommon men make two changes from their Connacht title win over Moycullen in November.
Pearse Frost comes in for Ruairi Smith at corner-back, while at full-forward, Mark Daly replaces Senan Kilbride.
Wing-back was the hero of the hour against the Galway side, netting a late goal and he starts at wing-back, while Conor Hand leads the line following his seven-point haul in their provincial success.
Scotstown: Rory Beggan; Damien McArdle, Ryan O'Toole, Darragh Murray; Kieran Hughes, Darren Hughes, Donnchadh Connolly; Micheal McCarville, Gavin McPhillips; Max Maguire, Shane Carey, Francis Maguire; Mattie Maguire, Jack McCarron, Nicky Sherlock.
St Brigid's: Conor Carroll; Pearse Frost, Sean Trundle, Robbie Dolan; Ruaidhri Fallon, Brian Stack, Paul McGrath; Shane Cunnane, Eddie Nolan; Ciaran Sugrue, Conor Hand, Bobby Nugent; Ben O'Carroll, Mark Daly, Brian Derwin.
Referee: Brendan Cawley (Kildare)
Scotstown v St Brigid's
Monaghan senior football manager Gabriel Bannigan feels the current absence of his Scotstown contingent "is a nice headache to have" as his side take part in the Dr McKenna Cup.
The Ulster and Monaghan champions face Roscommon's St Brigid's in their All-Ireland Club Senior Football Championship semi-final on Sunday at Breffni Park [15:00 GMT] - the same venue where Bannigan's charges overcame Cavan in their pre-season opener on Saturday evening.
Should 'An Bhoth' prevail, they will have an All-Ireland final to look forward to on Sunday, 18 January - seven days before Monaghan host Armagh in their Division One league opener.
While that could mean the Scotstown contingent will return to county duty a little later, Bannigan feels it affords opportunities for others to stake their claim.
"The Scotstown boys have done brilliant to win Ulster and I wish them the best of luck - I hope they win and go on to that All-Ireland final," Bannigan told BBC Sport NI following Monaghan's 0-16 to 0-13 Dr McKenna Cup win over Cavan.
"I've been saying to our lads the Scotstown players' preparation is going on on one side and we have to box that off to get on with our thing.
"It means we're giving more opportunities to other fellas and hopefully we will be the beneficiary of that at the end of the summer."

Clogher moved through to the All-Ireland Club Junior Football Championship final with a 2-13 to 0-9 win over Kiltimagh in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Ciaran Bogue struck a goal in each half to finish as top-scorer with 2-4, while Ryan McCaughey chipped in with five points including four from play as the Ulster champions took over after an even start.
The Tyrone side will now meet Ballymacelligott in the final at Croke Park on Sunday, 11 January [13:30 GMT] with the Kerry side defeating Grangenolvin in the other semi-final.
It was an even start to this semi-final with Clogher goalkeeper Rory McElroy's 45 cancelled out by Oisín Mulderrig.
The sides traded again in an even start before Ryan McCaughey and McElroy opened a two-point gap for the Tyrone men.
That margin remained in the 23rd minute when Bogue burst through to finish low to the net and after Thomas Keegan hit back with a free for the Mayo men, points from Bogue and Vincent Lowry helped Clogher into a 1-7 to 0-4 advantage at the break.
A point from Kiltimagh's Conor Mallee shortly after the restart hinted at a rally from the Connacht champions, but Ryan McCaughey and Bogue reasserted Clogher's dominance.
Paul Kelly's two-pointer rallied Kiltimagh briefly, but the game was put to bed with 10 minutes to play as Bogue cracked home his second goal with Clogher finishing with a flourish as McCaughey and Conor Shields added scores to seal their side's passage into the final.
