Dolci continues comebackpublished at 13:49 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

Tell you what if the pommel horse didn't exist Canada's Felix Dolci would be running away with this.

His exquisite vault earns 14.200 points and were it not for the 9.500 aberration on the pommel he'd likely be leading the field.

He remains 2.200 behind Reuben Ward with two apparatus to come. Surely too much to make up.

Reuben Ward didn't get his run up for the vault quite right in the team event on Friday, had to adapt it on the fly, and only executed two twists. He got that bang on today, though.

That gold medal is very much in his sights now...

Reuben Ward has history with the Commonwealth Games.

His Scottish parents - Brendan and Lisa - brought him up from Bury to watch the 2014 event in their home city of Glasgow and he saw Dan Keatings win pommel gold for the hosts.

“I was about 11 when I chose to compete for Scotland, and it was 100 percent about the Commonwealth Games,” Ward said of that experience.

"When you're as young as that, you have no idea how good you're going to be but representing Scotland at the Commonwealth Games was always the dream, even from that age."

BIG from Reuben Ward with a triple twist.

Not perfect with a big step back but that's going to be in the region of 14.000 you'd imagine.

It is.... 14.050. He's back into the gold medal position and now had a cushion of 0.750 points with two apparatus to come.

Canada's William Emard has added 13.750 for his vault, losing a fraction for stepping out of bounds on the landing.

Adam Tobin has followed for England, he's under the radar a little, but has been incredibly consistent so far. Wow that's a 14.150. Tobin is right in the mix.

Australia's Jesse Moore has also added 13.400 on the parallel bars after a slightly misstep on his dismount to put the pressure on Reuben Ward ahead of his vault.

Whitehouse nails his vaultpublished at 13:34 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

Luke Whitehouse has just reminded us how good he is with a brilliant vault.

He will move up the standings with that, but has left himself so much to do.

14.000 for that, slightly down on his qualification score. He'll want to improve on that in the vault final.

Ward heads for vaultpublished at 13:26 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

We're through three rotations, but not everyone has completed a vault yet, that tends to yield the highest score.

We'll have a much better idea of how things stand after this fourth turn.

Reuben Ward's lead is .100 from Ritam Malik of Australia, and Ward is about to attempt his vault.

Eyres finishes third rotationpublished at 13:23 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

The Isle of Man's 20-year-old Harry Eyres is the last man to go in the third rotation.

His routine is clean on the parallel bars bar a slight step on his dismount.

That might be his best score of this final so far.

    It is... 10.950.

After three rotations Reuben Ward leads the way but less than half a point separates him from William Emard of Canada in fifth.

William Emard of Canada is right in the medal mix after a fine ring routine worth 13.750.

Adam Tobin, who like Emard has made the individual rings final, follows him on the apparatus and scores 13.050 to go into the top-six, less than a point off leader Reuben Ward.

Loh leaves on a stretcherpublished at 13:14 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

Sad to say Jovi Loh has been carried away from the parallel bars on a stretcher with what looks a serious knee injury.

We had positive news last night about England's Gabriel Langton after his sickening fall from the high bar on Friday night, fingers crossed this isn't as serious as it looks for the Singaporean gymnast.

  20. gymnastics

More dismay for Whitehousepublished at 13:11 BST 26 July

    Men's all-around final

A third straight disappointing routine from England's Luke Whitehouse, this time on the rings, and his medal hopes are dwindling.

He made the rings final but his 12.650 score is well below that score and a big disappointment and he remains well down the field, two full points adrift of the leader.
