Evans finishes in stylepublished at 20:49 BST 26 July

    Women's all-around final

Ruby Evans that is hugely impressive.

Lands the double-straight to start, then a clean front into double-twist and a couple of perfect twists.

She finishes with a double tuck with a tiny hop back.

She looks devastated, however good it was, it won't be enough to get her on the podium, but it has nothing to do with that routine, it's that pesky beam.

It's 12.950. Not enough today. But she'll be back in the floor and uneven bars finals.

Two athletes remain. Ruby Evans next and then Ellie Black of Canada.

Meanwhile home favourite Crystelle Lake ends her Commonwealth Games with a brilliant vault and a huge grin.

    Women's all-around final

Defending champion Georgia Godwin bows out with a 12.700 on the floor.

It's not likely to be enough for a medal with the top-two yet to come.

Shantae-Eve Amankwaah of England remains ahead of Godwin and is heading for a top-four finish at this point, and, you never know,,,

Fontaine maintains medal pushpublished at 20:32 BST 26 July

    Women's all-around final

Lia-Monica Fontaine of Canada opens with a huge tumble, just stepping over the floor boundary, but the 16-year-old recovers well and lands the next couple with aplomb.

This is good. That's going to set the bar for the rest of the medal contenders.

13.150. That will take some beating. Ellie Black will need 12.550 to beat her teammate, Breanna Scott will need 12.750.

Ruby Evans would need 15.000... gulp.

His compatriot Oliver Morgan was third fastest in heats and he already has two silver medals from Glasgow - 50m backstroke and 4x100m freestyle.

But they'll have to beat South Africa's Pieter Coetzee, who is the favourite after winning gold in 50m backstroke yesterday.

Abi Martin's difficult day is at an end.

She steps out of bounds on her first tumble on the floor but keeps the second in by a fraction.

The 19-year-old just bounces out of a huge double-tuck to finish, but she certainly left it all out there.

It's looking like it will be the first time since 2010 that England don't medal in this event.
