George Russell has won out over ex-team-mate Lewis Hamilton but now he has to go after the other Scuderia of Charles Leclerc. The Briton is trying his best but he tells his pit wall these Ferraris are fast.
Over at Racing Bulls, Arvid Lindblad had a spin and now the British rookie is running in 14th place.

McLaren's Lando Norris speaking to Sky Sports about not starting the race: "Obviously, we can't race. Yeah, it's just frustrating. It's on the PU side so the guys tried as hard as they can to try and get everything sorted or find some solution but weren't able to so yea disappointing. My first non-start in F1. Tough to take.
"I'm not sure exactly, but I would say probably an hour before going out, I was warming up. Found out about it.
On what the issue with the car is: "I don't know yet. They know it is an issue they can't fix for now. They need to look further into it."

All that brilliant racing between the two Ferraris has brought George Russell into the podium positions as we speak, but it's going to rumble on and on.

The two Ferraris are battling each other at every corner. Charles Leclerc takes second place back from Lewis Hamlton but then the seven-time world has the juice to reply instantly. Leclerc finally makes the move stick to keep hold of P2, but now Hamilton is vulnerable to an attack from George Russell. And now Hamilton drops to third.
What's interesting about this battle for the lead at the moment is that the top four cars are basically nose to tail.
It seems to be proving what people are fearing about these new cars, you get these frantic scraps in the first few laps when people are swapping places.
However, once the race settles down lots of team principals and senior people and engineers have been concerned that overtaking is going to become really difficulty at that point.
That's what we seem to be seeing with Hamilton, Russell and Leclerc at the moment.

The two Ferraris have changed places and Lewis Hamilton drops back to P3 as Charles Leclerc moves forward. The team-mates start to squabble but Leclerc stays ahead, which just opens the door a little for George Russell to have a sniff.
The leader of the race is polesitter Kimi Antonelli, who is nearly two seconds ahead of the Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton in second, with Charles Leclerc and George Russell just behind.
Max Verstappen has stolen another place, swapping positions with the Alpine of Franco Colapinto. Oliver Bearman is now up to fifth spot after taking advantage of the scrapping a few laps ago, which Pierre Gasly definitely had a problem with.

This is unfamiliar territory for George Russell so far this year. All we've seen so far is him sail into the sunset with his team-mate Kimi Antonelli coming in second.
He's not used to seeing those red Ferrari cars stay in front of him.
I think he might be getting a little bit frustrated behind Charles Leclerc.

Franco Colapinto is holding off the threat of the cars behind but he might have Max Verstappen to deal with soon, as the four-tme world champion takes Esteban Ocon's place next.
While the Alpine and Haas scrap for places, Max Verstappen is creeping up on the quartet in the Red Bull. The Dutchman picks off Pierre Gasly first after the Frenchman was tussling with Ollie Bearman and is now looking to strike on Esteban Ocon and Franco Colapinto.
The phone is ringing at Ferrari and it's Lewis Hamilton, who tells his pit wall he needs a bit power to be able to take the fight to the younger Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli.
The Alpines and the Haas are having a right old battle for these top 10 places. Franco Colapinto is fifth, Esteban Ocon is sixth, Oliver Bearman is seventh and Frenchman Pierre Gasly is eight.
