Ollie Bearman got out of the car and was into the medical centre. They have a helicopter here just outside the medical centre, so if they need to take him to hospital they have a clear route. At the moment there's a couple of us here waiting and hoping for some good news on Ollie. It was a hard impact.

[On Russell's team radio] That is basically, is he going to go, is he going to release and make the brake in the places they discussed. It sounds like it has been a discussion down at Mercedes. He sounds a little frustrated, rightly so. It is just the luck of the safety car.

What I expect happened is that Oliver Bearman's ankle bones have hit together, he was holding his ankle. There are knee pads but there is no such thing as ankle pads.
