    Forest Green Rovers captain Jordan Moore-Taylor has broken his ankle in training and will miss the next three months.

    The centre-back has played in 18 out of 21 National League matches for the club this season.

    Ryan Inniss has also pulled a calf muscle and will be on the sidelines for six weeks.

    Boss Robbie Savage said he has had conversations with director of football Mark Bowen and the club ownership about bringing in another centre-half or defensive midfielder.

    "We've gone from having four first choice centre-halves to having [Laurent] Mendy and [Abraham] Kanu and the way we play right now, we've probably only got three defensively minded players in the team," Savage told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

    Boston United have extended the loan of Norwich City forward Ken Aboh until January.

    The 21-year-old has made four appearances for the National League club so far but is yet to score a goal.

    Aboh's spell with Boston is his third loan away from Norwich having split last season between Stevenage in League One and Colchester United of League Two.

  3. Wealdstone midfielder Scott leaves clubpublished at 17:29 GMT 28 November 2025

    Wealdstone midfielder Christian Scott has left the club by mutual consent after cancelling his contract.

    The 20-year-old made 15 appearances for the Stones but has not appeared for the club this season.

    Scott spent three months on loan with Enfield Town in National League South last season.

    Rochdale have signed Ryan Galvin on an initial two-month loan deal from Barnet.

    The 24-year-old defender has played 13 games for the Bees after joining in the summer from Halifax Town.

    And he helped the Shaymen to reach the play-offs in each of his two seasons with them where he made 71 appearances.

    York City have signed defender Zak Johnson on loan from Premier League side Sunderland until January.

    The 21-year-old centre-back has played four times for the Black Cats since making his debut in the EFL Trophy in 2021, when he was 16.

    In joining the National League club, Johnson reunites with manager Stuart Maynard, who he played under at Notts County in League Two during the second half of last season, featuring 10 times.

    He was also loaned out to National League side Hartlepool United and League of Ireland Premier Division team Dundalk during the 2023-24 season.

    Boston have signed Southend central defender Adam Crowther on loan until January.

    The 24-year-old joins the Lincolnshire club as injury cover for Zak Mills, who is out with a hamstring problem.
