    Sutton United have signed midfielder Dubem Eze from League One club Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

    The 20-year-old had spells in the youth set-up at Chelsea, Derby County and Norwich City at the start of his career before joining Bolton in 2024.

    He joined Scunthorpe United on loan in the summer and scored twice in their 5-0 FA Trophy win over Peterborough Sports on 13 December.

    Sutton are 21st in the table and following the postponement of Saturday's game at Scunthorpe, they will next be in action at home to York City on 10 January.

    "It feels like I'm back home, being from just around the corner (in South Morden). It's good to be here and I'm excited to get started," said Eze.

    Tamworth have extended the loan deal of Luton Town striker Oli Lynch until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old initially joined the Lambs until the end of December but he will now stay with the National League side until the end of April.

    Lynch has scored seven goals in 31 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

    Tamworth, at home to Gateshead on Saturday [15:00 GMT], are currently 13th in the table, eight points clear of the relegation zone and 10 shy of the play-off places.

    Boreham Wood midfielders Tom White and Erico Sousa will be out "for a good while" because of injuries, chairman Danny Hunter has confirmed.

    White, who has made 22 appearances this season had an operation on a hamstring injury just before Christmas and is now on a "10-week rehabilitation countdown" for a possible return to action.

    Sousa suffered a knee injury in their 4-0 Boxing Day win at Wealdstone, a result which put Wood second in the National League table.

    He will have a scan on Wednesday and Hunter said: , external"At this point we must plan for the worst and hope for the best."

    Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Jon Benton has left the club by mutual agreement to pursue a career as an accountant.

    Benton joined Boreham Wood from Solihull Moors in 2024 and played eight games this season, the last against York City in October.
