    Portsmouth 0-0 Swansea

Portsmouth boss John Mousinho has made two changes from the 1-1 draw at Blackburn with Madiodio Dia and Jacob Brown in for Regan Poole and Conor Chaplin.

Vitor Matos has made just one alteration for Swansea from their 2-0 win over Stoke as Jay Fulton comes into the midfield for Marko Stamenic, who drops to the bench.

  5. Will Ipswich's away cracks show at Potters?published at 19:38 GMT 10 March

    Stoke v Ipswich (20:00 GMT)

This feels like a huge game for Ipswich tonight and their ambitions to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

After dropping points in the 1-1 home draw with Leicester on Saturday, the Tractor Boys need to get back on track to stay in touch with Middlesbrough in second, who they trail by five points with a game in hand.

Kieran McKenna's side have won four of their past six (D1 L1), but have struggled for consistency on the road, winning just six of their 16 away games in the league so far this season (D4 L6).

As for Stoke City, what looked to be a potentially brilliant season challenging for promotion when they were second on 4 November has completely deteriorated.

Just five wins in 22 games (D5 L12) since then for the Potters has seen them slip to 15th, closer to the drop zone (eight points clear) than the play-offs (10 points adrift).

Since Christmas, no team has averaged more points per game in the Championship than Wrexham.

Phil Parkinson's men have taken 29 points from their 13 league outings since 25 December at an average of 2.23 points per game.

Hull City have had a fair few blips of late, losing four of their past six league matches, including the past two.

But they still, as things stand ahead of tonight's matches, have a six-point buffer over Derby County in seventh, such has been their impressive form this season as a whole.

An intriguing night lies ahead in the battle between sixth and fifth.

    Opportunity knocks for Wrexham.

A win tonight would lift them above tonight's opponents into fifth place, with a game in hand on the Tigers.

Phil Parkinson's men are in great form and their display in defeat by Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday drew plaudits from former England skipper Wayne Rooney.

Hull City's promotion push has been stunted by four defeats in their past six but they have only lost one of their past nine away games.

The Tigers have made four changes from the side that lost 3-1 at home to Millwall on Saturday. Paddy McNair. John Egan, Amir Hadziahmetovic and Lewis Koumas all come in.

  8. Can Owls mark Palmer's landmark night?published at 19:32 GMT 10 March

Sheff Wed v Watford (19:45 GMT)

It's been a wretched season for Sheffield Wednesday and their fans.

Relegation was confirmed over two weeks ago for the administration-hit side and they now have 10 games to avoid ending the season on minus points.

The team will have an added impetus to try and get their first win of the season tonight as skipper Liam Palmer makes his 500th appearance for the club.

An outstanding feat for a player who made his Owls debut in August 2010.

Watford boast an excellent recent record against Wednesday though and with their play-off hopes still very much alive they'll gladly play the role of party pooper.

The Hornets, who haven't played since winning 2-1 at Bristol City on Friday, 27 February, are without that night's match-winner Jeremy Ngakia because of a hamstring injury.

  9. Relegation-battling Pompey host homesick Swanspublished at 19:30 GMT 10 March

    Portsmouth v Swansea (19:45 GMT)

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho said he was "furious" with how his side managed the game after going 1-0 up at fellow relegation-battlers Blackburn on Saturday as they went on to concede a 93rd-minute equaliser.

Might his reaction light a fire under a Pompey team who can ill afford too many more slip ups of similar ilk if they are to guarantee safety this season?

That draw at Ewood Park made it three games without a win for Portsmouth (L2) who start the night five points clear of the drop zone.

Pompey welcome a much-improved Swansea side since Vitor Matos took over, though they would have to put together a seriously impressive run to make a late charge for the play-offs and eat into the current eight-point gap to the top-six.

One thing the Swans would hope to improve on in the final stages of the season is their dismal away record - only Sheffield Wednesday (7) and West Bromwich Albion (12) have taken fewer points on the road than their 14 so far.

  10. Rams seeking big win over high-flying Millwallpublished at 19:28 GMT 10 March

    Millwall v Derby (19:45 GMT)

    Media caption,

The Rams head coach talks to Dominic Dietrich ahead of the trip to the Lions Den.

After steadying the ship from back-to-back losses with two successive wins, the Rams once again look in the mood for a promotion charge.

In fact, should Hull City claim a win at Wrexham, Derby County could make the top six this evening with a victory of their own.

However a win over hosts Millwall is one of the biggest asks in the Championship right now, with the Lions roaring closer to the automatic promotion spots and only losing once in their past eight games (W6 D1).

Playing one of the most in-form sides in the league while fighting for a play-off position brings pressure - but according to boss John Eustace, the Rams squad are used to soaking up expectation

"When you play for Derby County there's pressure on every game no matter where you are in the league," Eustace told BBC Radio Derby.

"We want to be competitive and win very game we play and that pressure comes from playing for this fantastic football club."

  11. Can Foxes take advantage of hurting Robins?published at 19:26 GMT 10 March

Leicester v Bristol City (19:45 GMT)

Leicester will be looking to avoid an unfortunate stat as they host Bristol City tonight.

Having lost their past four home league matches, if they taste defeat again it'll be the first time they've lost five in a row outside of the top flight.

An unwanted record in a season of struggle that has them without a win in 11 games and, as things stand, on course for a second straight relegation.

But the visiting Robins may not been feeling all too confident themselves, with successive league losses leaving them seven points off the pace in the play-off race.

Leicester have the chance to lift out of the bottom three and pile the pressure on West Bromwich Albion before their game with Southampton tomorrow - can they take advantage to avoid a slice of bad history?

All four sides who currently occupy the play-off spots are in action tonight, as are seventh-placed Derby, so we could see plenty of movement near the top.

Millwall and Ipswich have the chance to close the gap to Middlesbrough in second to one and two points respectively, while Wrexham could leapfrog Hull with a win over the Tigers.

At the bottom, Leicester will climb out of the relegation zone for at least a night if they avoid defeat against Bristol City.

Portsmouth will be hoping to pull clear of the bottom three as they welcome Swansea.
