Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to BBC Sport, on their top-four challenge: "For us this was always going to be a year of building and it always unlikely we would get through it unscathed [with injuries].

"We've stayed competitive in the league and always tried to play our football. We've got two games to go and we want to finish strong."

On his hopes of still making the top four: "It's about being the best we can be. Irrespective of where we finish it is important that we strengthen in the off season and I know the players who have been through this year will come back strongly."

Brentford

Brentford manager Thomas Frank to BBC Match of the Day: "I think it was an interesting game, there were a lot of situations that could have ended in more opportunities. I am very pleased we took the win in what was a tight game.

"We scored some brilliant goals, I must say that.

"It was a fantastic response and mentality from the players. I've said it before that this group are special in the way they come back. They are unique."

On the two VAR involvements: "I think overall, fair enough. The first one, if there is a handball in the build up to a goal, then that is the rule. I think the second one, I think it's a 50-50 situation, I understand it could have been a soft pen.

"I think Ivan [Toney] slips and that's why. I can understand why it's overturned, I still think it's borderline if it's a clear and obvious mistake.

"The boys have put in the effort and foundation in the last three matches. We didn't have the cutting edge against Everton and Fulham, but we had it today."

End to end. Nicolas Jackson loses the ball and seconds later Morgan Gibbs-White has a shot blocked. And seconds later Jackson is in the Forest box but can't find an end product.

Luton striker Carlton Morris: "It's emotional. I watched the video last night that Wolves put out about mental health and it made me see how much football means to fans.

"So going over at the end and standing there for 10 minutes, with them clapping and screaming for us, it touches a nerve. These guys work all week to come and watch us kick a football about. I can be proud of myself and my teammates and know the club is moving in the right direction.

"We would never give up and down tools. We have been fighting against the odds, there is a clear budget difference and some quality in the divison. I've loved it. We have been competitive and the fans know that. We've scored a lot of goals, been in some thrillers.

"I have learned so much this season, I'm evolving and our team is evolving. What happened to Tom Lockyer it shows how lucky we are to be in the situation we are in. I'm proud to lead this team out."

West Ham United

West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek on Match of the Day: "It is tough to take, the manager has been unbelievable and improved this club a lot. We wanted to get the win for him and we are happy that we did in the second half.

"Luton were at us from the first second. It was tough at the beginning but it's a good win for everyone."

Forest have a chance for a second... but Chris Wood heads across the box instead of at goal - and the offside flag is up.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Chelsea

It's being checked for offside though. The home fans boo.

Chelsea win a corner. Conor Gallagher takes it but it's cleared and Forest break.

It's a very good run from Murillo and Benoit Badiashile gets booked for taking him down.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to BBC Sport, on matchwinner Micky van de Ven: "He's not a bad player is he? He's outstanding and that's the exciting thing for me - it is his first year in Premier League football.

"Same with Destiny [Udogie], Pape Sarr and [Guglielmo] Vicario, too. We have so much growth in this team and Micky is at the forefront of that.

"I can't think of too many players who have made such an impact in their first year of Premier League football, and knowing he only really had one year in the Bundesliga. It's not like he's a seasoned professional.

"He has had a few injury problems but when he's played he has been outstanding."

Newcastle United

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe speaking to BBC Sport: "Tough game, we knew it would be, Brighton are always difficult opponents.

"I don't think we hit the heights we needed to win it but, if anyone was going to, I thought it would be us.

"Poor goal [to concede] from us, we did start well, we were progressive and out of nothing they take the lead. I'm just disappointed with our product around the box and there probably weren't enough clear-cut chances.

"Without a doubt the scene, the environment created by the supporters [has contributed to good home record]. Even when Brighton scored they got right behind the team but we just couldn't find that winning goal. They have made this place a really difficult place to play. This season the crowd have taken it to another level.

"If you're not going to win the game, the draw for us is really important. I think it could be a valuable point for us."

Cole Palmer has become just the third player to both score 20+ goals (21) and provide 10+ assists (10) in a Premier League season for Chelsea after Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba both did so in the 2009-10 campaign (Lampard - 22 goals & 14 assists, Drogba - 29 goals and 10 assists).

Palmer joins Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins with the most goal involvements in the Premier League this season - 31.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner to PLP: "It was a great win today, it was a great game and we had some problems after 10 minutes but we dealt with it well and we deserved the lead at half-time. We went to 2-1 and I really liked the reaction of the team. We had an injured player and a red card and Chris Richards played three or four positions."

On Hughes injury: "We hope it's not too serious, it was a knee to knee. He had his leg in the air but there was tears. He has pain but we hope it is not too serious."

On Olise and Eze: "They can threaten every team but when we see Olise's goal it's the run that made it. We have the quality and we make the runs inbehind. We had the opportunities. It was a very good win for us."

On last game of the season: "No one will listen to me if I say lets keep playing. We are in good shape. We can be successful. Now it's for us to keep the focus high until the last game. We want to present a good performance to the fans and have another win at home at Selhurst. We will have two days off now because the next game isn't until Sunday and we will do some testing for next season."

Nicolas Jackson's cutback is just behind Noni Madueke.

Forest try to counter but lose momentum.
