Oldham 1-0 Notts County
Anthony Wareing
BBC Radio Manchester commentator
I have to say at the moment, the Oldham press, they are executing it really well.

Oldham's win was their fifth consecutive league victory and stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games
Oldham extended their impressive unbeaten run to 10 games with a 3-0 home win against 10-man Notts County which moved them to within a point of the League Two play-off places.
Goals from winger Kane Drummond in the fifth minute and a second-half double from striker Mike Fondop helped Micky Mellon's side win a fifth straight game.
It was a night to remember for Oldham goalkeeper Matthew Hudson, who kept his 18th league clean sheet of the season to equal the club held jointly by Les Pogliacomi and Connor Ripley.
But it was a miserable one for the Magpies who would have gone third in the table with a win.
They fell behind early when Oldham broke quickly and Kai Payne played in Drummond to score.
And County were left facing an uphill battle when Oliver Norburn – in his second game back since being dismissed for throwing a boot away – was sent off after picking up a second booking in the 48th minute.
And Oldham were ruthless against 10 men, with Fondop scoring from the rebound after Payne was denied in the 56th minute before adding his sixth goal in nine games 13 minutes later after pouncing on a defensive error.

Oldham are unbeaten in six home Football League meetings with Notts County (W4 D2), winning the last two in a row; the Latics last won three in a row at home to the Magpies in the top four tiers in March 1992.
After their 3-1 win in October, Notts County could complete their first Football League double over Oldham since the 2000-01 campaign.
Oldham boss Micky Mellon’s only previous managerial game at home to Notts County in the Football League came with Tranmere Rovers in February, his side running out 1-0 winners.
Notts County have won nine of their 18 away league games this season (D4 L5); having won 10 on the road in 2024-25, the Magpies could win 10+ away games in back-to-back Football League campaigns for the very first time in their entire history.
