In-form Kerolin put Man City ahead early doors, but London City have had a couple of chances to equaliser despite the visitors' dominance.

Julia Zigiotti Olme with a dangerous run as Aston Villa's defenders back off. The Manchester United midfielder sees her initial shot from the edge of the box blocked before striking the follow-up over the bar.

Moments later Phallon Tullis-Joyce makes a superb diving save in the United goal to parry a curling effort from Maya Hijikata.

Leicester midfielder Emma Jansson is down receiving treatment, and she is unable to continue.

Still goalless at the St Helens Stadium as the clock ticks towards half-time. Tottenham have showed a fraction more ambition and registered their first meaningful effort from Olivia Holdt, albeit neither a threatening one nor on target.

Julia Zigiotti Olme's delivery from corners is causing havoc in the Aston Villa boss.

It's another high inswinger into the box from the Swede but this time Ellie Roebuck is able to palm it away.

Alex Greenwood clips a free-kick to the far post for Lauren Hemp to flick back into the box. Khadija Shaw heads it on, before Kerstin Casparij's effort is blocked.

It's only five minutes since Isobel Goodwin struck the base of the post and now she's crashed a header against Ayaka Yamashita's crossbar.

London City are giving it everything here against the league leaders.

That was an incredible save from Yamashita

Another one-v-one, similar to the situation Isobel Goodwin found herself in not long ago and it's good to see her being a lot more selfish in front of goal.

But the fingertips absolutely make the difference, it was an inch or so - and a great follow up too.

If this game ends 1-0, moments like that Yamashita save can make all the different to the title race this year.

Ayaka Yamashita produces a stunning save to deny Isobel Goodwin!

The London City striker has looked dangerous running off the back of the City centre-backs, and this time she looks certain to score.

Goodwin shoots towards the bottom right corner, but Yamashita somehow gets fingertips to the ball to tip it onto the post before falling on the rebound.

City have dominated, but they do look vulnerable to Goodwin's pace on the break.

A rare London City attack ends with Kosovare Asllani connecting with a cross, but her header is tame.
