He has got that fire that we don't see that often nowadays. Generally, that is a catalyst. You want someone like that in your team, who sets the intensity that is required.

Morgan Gibbs-White is up there. I think he will be in the England set-up for a very long time, on the form he is showing at the moment. And with an attitude that he had, just by the way he talks, he seems to be very at home in Nottingham.
He is doing everything at the moment. He has got assists in his locker and nice little flicks. I just think he has got so much.
All of his team-mates are trying to find him with the ball. He is ticking a lot of boxes at the moment and the players that are in and around the England set-up are looking and realising they have to perform.

Tracks selected by Joao Felix, Thriller by Michael Jackson in his case, and Jadon Sancho, Too Fast by Future, have been played so far as the teams warm up.
They've experimented with an on-pitch DJ for the opening three games but have since got rid of the FIFA and UEFA-inspired pre-match entertainment.

Manchester United assistant manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is presiding over what appears to be a rather complicated warm-up, with passes coming in from different angles for players to finish.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Andre Onana is practicing his long kicks, meaning a Man Utd coach is amongst the Aston Villa players who are doing their own warm-up.
I assumed you had to stick to your own half of the pitch. Apparently not.

Image source, ReutersManchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe says the future of under-pressure manager Erik ten Hag is "not my call".
Billionaire Ratcliffe took control of football operations at Old Trafford in February and, in July, the club triggered a one-year extension in Ten Hag's contract.
But following a difficult start to the campaign, Ratcliffe said the United hierarchy he has put in place must "take stock and make some sensible decisions".
Asked if he still had faith in former Ajax boss Ten Hag, Ratcliffe told BBC Sport: "I don’t want to answer that question."
"I like Erik. I think he's a very good coach but at the end of the day it's not my call," said Ratcliffe, who has overhauled the club's board structure and executive team since investing £1.25 billion for a 27.7% stake in the club.

I still haven’t heard any Man Utd executive or EtH critic say what they definitely want for Man Utd this season. If the talk is “getting back to where they belong” then that means a title challenge every season. That means this squad has to overperform - and worse it means that development is sacrificed for short term results. It’s the same with the captaincy - who else is there? Rashford is out of form. The expectations on this team are unfair. Top six is a huge win for this lot.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spent around £600m since his arrival at the club in 2022.
Six of the outfield players he has brought to Old Trafford are on the bench today - Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Antony and Manuel Ugarte.
Their combined cost is £333m, including various add-ons.
That is a lot of money not to play.
Ten Hag signed three players who do make his starting line-up; Andre Onana, Noussair Mazraoui and Rasmus Hojlund.

Ollie Watkins is the man, but Jhon Duran is on the bench and he scores. Stuck on the bench again, and scores!
When Duran came on against Bayern Munich Upamecano had to give him some space and he was flicking things on and making them happen. Upamecano didn't know how to deal with him.
Duran knew with his vision, where the ball was and where the defender was, it was an outstanding finish.
The manager seems to be getting everything right. Morgan Rodgers is some player. He is very brave and puts himself at the heart of the game, at the heart of Villa going forward. His positioning is right, his weight of pass is great. I just think he has got the all-round game.

When Erik ten Hag first came in it felt like United were changing and changing for the better.
He was making decisive changes on the field and there was a sense of belief amongst United supporters that they were getting their club back.

Everyone watching can see that there is a bunch of players with a bundle of experience, but they’re not playing as a collective unit.
This is Erik ten Hag’s team and there’s no excuses. Marcus Rashford was showing us the old Rashford in the first 45 minutes [against Porto] and you take him off at half-time – that was bewildering.
Ten Hag is showing that Man Utd is too much of a big job for him.

It seems Aston Villa's Jhon Duran is in that category.

Having lost consecutive Premier League home games against Tottenham without scoring in 2021-22 and 2022-23, Brighton won this exact fixture 4-2 last season.
Just one of the 14 Premier League meetings between Brighton and Tottenham has finished as a draw (1-1 in April 2018), with Spurs winning nine to the Seagulls’ four.
