They finished last season really strongly with many thinking Oliver Glasner would turn out to be a great fit for the Eagles. Plus they've managed to keep hold of many of those key players.
But it's been a really difficult start for them with no wins on the board as yet.

Image source, ReutersDiogo Jota is a goalscorer, he plays off the centre half. Liverpool, it should have been three or four - they’ve been completely dominant.
The only thing Palace can be happy with, its only one down.. Alisson could have put his slippers on throughout that first half, except when Palace had that chance in the final 20 seconds.

It is more about self belief for Crystal Palace.
There is moans and groans from the stands. Ismaila Sarr's chance was very good, but Alisson made a good save.

That Ismaila Sarr effort right at the end of the half was Crystal Palace's first and only shot of the game so far.
As things stand it's Liverpool who are cruising. They are unbeaten in their previous 142 Premier League games when ahead at half time (W129 D13).

Surely Glasner is under pressure should palace fail to win today, they’ve started the season a different team. Ever so strange.

What a pass from Maxence Lacroix! Cutting through the Liverpool defence to find Ismaila Sarr but Alisson parries away the low shot. Ibrahima Konate does enough to prevent Eddie Nketiah getting a foot to the rebound.

Everton have lost just three of their last 20 Premier League home games against Newcastle (W12 D5), though two of those defeats have come across their last four such meetings (W2).
Newcastle have won five of their last eight Premier League meetings with Everton (D1 L2), as many as in their previous 24 against them (D6 L13). However, they failed to win either meeting with the Toffees last term (D1 L1).
After losing their first four Premier League matches this season, Everton have picked up four points in their last two games (W1 D1). The Toffees are looking for consecutive wins for the first time since April.
