This game is going pretty much how Dundee manager Steven Pressley would want.

The visitors are slowing the game down at every opportunity, much to the frustration of the home support, and Rangers' front three haven't really carved out big chances.

Going forward, Dundee have threatened to get in behind a couple of times but are still waiting for that big chance.

I think that one qualifies as an effort at goal.

Mikey Moore's high cross is headed down by Bojan Miovski but it's an easy take for Dundee goalkeeper Jon McCracken.

Another high ball into Celtic's penalty box causes a bit of panic.

Harry Milne rises at the back post, but the defender's header is held on the line by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Andreas Skov Olsen is yet to really make his presence known in this game.

Rangers' new winger is occupying the right-hand side of the attack, always looking to cut inside - much like Vaclav Cerny last season.

Schmeichel isn't taking any chances, playing a nice clipped ball up to Cvanvara, who won it and the support came.

That's what you've got to do when a team comes and presses you. The space is high up the pitch. If you can execute it, do it.

Daizen Maeda is in behind the home defence.

However, the Celtic winger lauches his drive high and wide from a difficult angle under pressure.

Another free-kick launched into the Celtic penalty box.

But midfielder Tomas Magnusson can only head weakly straight at goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Rangers are yet to register a single shot inside the first 20 minutes at Ibrox. Tochu Chukwuani's header won't count towards that as it was offside.

The only effort has been a Dundee effort.

Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Celtic

Pierre Landry Kabore goes down in a heap inside the Celtic penalty box.

The striker shot on the turn and followed through on visiting centre-half Auston Trusty.

A sore one for him, especially as no foul is given, but there's nothing in it.

Benjamin Nygren is now the joint top scorer in the Premiership, along with Motherwell's Tawanda Maswanhise and striker Lawrence Shankland, who is being sorely missed by Hearts today.

A shot from Dundee and they could have made more of that.

Ash Hay gets in between the two Rangers centre-backs and heads back to Callum Jones, who strikes.

Jack Butland deals with it but could have been tested more.

Hearts were looking a bit shaky after conceding but have settled again.

Claudio Braga curls an inswinging cross to the back post, but it is too high for the head of Harry Milne.

And indeed, offside is the decision. It took a wee while for the officials to come to that conclusion, perhaps related to the VAR issues that delayed the start to this game.

Hearts boss Derek McInnes didn’t take too kindly to something that was said from inside the Celtic dugout when the visitors' goal was scored.

He raced in to challenge one of the backroom team before being ushered away by the fourth official.
