You'd think Daniel Farke was managing Atalanta the way they've come out this half.

Lovely stuff from Dominik Szoboszlai as he breaks free of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Inter midfielder can only drag him down and pick up a booking.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:21 GMT 9 December 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Slavia Prague

What a brilliant double save by Jindrich Stanek, who has been really good tonight and his side could have found themselves even further behind if not for his efforts.

He denies Mathys Tel then Pape Sarr in quick succession at close range.

    Atalanta 1-1 Chelsea

Charles de Ketelaere, who provided the assist for Atalanta's equaliser, now has 12 goal involvements in his last 12 Champions League appearances for the Italians.

    Five goals, seven assists.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Liverpool

Patient play by Liverpool as they knock the ball around nicely. Still struggling to create anything meaningful against this solid Inter defence.

Wonder if Arne Slot wishes he had a certain Mohamed Salah to call upon tonight.

    Suddenly, it's all Atalanta.

Chelsea, who looked so comfortable in the first half, are on the ropes.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:17 GMT 9 December 2025

    Tottenham 2-0 Slavia Prague

Mohammed Kudus got his first Champions League goal for Spurs but Thomas Frank is going to make some substitutions.

He's replaced by Mathys Tel, who has been called up to Spurs' European squad in the absence of Dominic Solanke, while Archie Gray makes way for Pape Sarr.

Another slow start to this half but Liverpool won't mind that at all.

  9. Atletico score twice early in second halfpublished at 21:15 GMT 9 December 2025

    PSV 1-3 Atletico Madrid

They were behind early but Atletico Madrid are now two goals to the good in Eindhoven.

First, Nahuel Molina's low strike from 25 yards is pushed out by Matej Kovar but Atletico's David Hancko is the first to react.

He gets to the loose ball and calmly slots it home.

Then just a couple of minutes later, Pablo Barrios gets in down the left and hangs a ball up to the far post for Alexander Sorloth to nod it past Kovar.

    Gianluca Scamacca

Hammer blow for Chelsea as former West Ham forward Gianluca Scamacca heads Atalanta back on level terms.

Charles De Ketelaere does well to send in the cross while under pressure from Marc Cucurella and Scamacca, who is completely unmarked, nods the Italians level.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is in space on the right and looks for an audacious ball towards Marcus Thuram.

It would've been a worldie of a pass but he gets it wrong.

    Atalanta 0-1 Chelsea

That's a huge chance for Chelsea!

Reece James has all the time on the world to line up a shot and when the captain does eventually strike it the ball flashes wide of the Atlanta post.

Moments later the Italians have the ball in the back of the net but it's ruled out for an obvious offside.

Slavia Prague have not scored a Champions League goal in four matches but David Doudera tries to change that with a low, powerful strike that drags just wide.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Liverpool

Arne Slot doesn't have much to turn to on the Liverpool bench tonight but he does have a certain Florian Wirtz.

I wonder when/if we'll see the German international.

  16. Postpublished at 21:11 GMT 9 December 2025

    Atalanta 0-1 Chelsea

If - and it's a big if with 40 minutes or so still to play - Chelsea win this, they will move onto 13 points with two group phase games still to play.

One win from either Pafos at home on 21 January or Napoli away on 28 January should seal their passage through to the last 16.

  17. Zakaria misses penalty for Monacopublished at 21:11 GMT 9 December 2025

    Monaco 0-0 Galatasaray

After a first half in which both sides missed very good opportunities to take the lead, Monaco have just spurned the best opportunity of the lot against Galatasaray.

Former Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino was brought down by ex-Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez in the box and, after being sent to the screen by the VAR, the referee gives the penalty.

However, it's a poor penalty from Monaco's Denis Zakaria. Low, bobbling down the middle and saved by the legs of Ugurcan Cakir.

That's a really good strike from Wilson Odobert. Low and powerful and it produces a good save from Jindrich Stanek.
