Former Newcastle and Tottenham striker on TNT Sports

You heard the groans at the end of the game. The boos were very loud and they have been audible all season.

A lot of fans have lost faith in what Thomas Frank is doing here.

The Manchester United fans who thought they had seen the end of three at the back with the departure of Ruben Amorim were wrong.

Michael Carrick has switched his defence to accommodate the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee into the number 10 role, with Bryan Mbeumo on the right, Amad on the left and Bruno Fernandes floating.

Man Utd just cannot find a clinical final ball this evening, but credit to West Ham for a superb defensive performance and a counter-attack goal. I had a feeling Man Utd would come unstuck tonight, West Ham have done this to us many times before.

That lad who is letting his hair grow until Manchester United win five games in a row will be feeling a little nervous.

The visitors are currently on four successive wins but need at least two goals here to turn things around.

Freddie Potts has been great, but he is starting to tire and Tomas Soucek looks leggy. It does need freshening up.

Half a chance for Manchester United as Benjamin Sesko turns around five yards outside of the box, but his low strike is an easy save for Mads Hermansen.

Moments later, Bryan Mbeumo is not too far off with a header that goes wide.

  15. 'Hopefully we will keep climbing the table'published at 21:46 GMT 10 February

    FT: Everton 1-2 Bournemouth

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth defender James Hill speaking to TNT Sports: "We're absolutely buzzing with Amine [Adli's] goal. We were struggling to keep clean sheets at the start of the season but we are doing really well now and we are looking like a stronger unit throughout the pitch going forward and defending, putting their bodies on the line.

On looking at European places: "It's obviously what people are saying but right now we have got to focus on each game, take one step at a time. We look forward to the West Ham game and then hopefully get three points in that. If we keep putting in these good performances, hopefully we will keep climbing the table."

As a Spurs fan of 60+ yes, I've never felt so miserable. Don't mind losing if we're giving it a go as we were under Ange, but this is stodgy cold porridge football. The manager is there to lift them, but Frank seems unable. Nearly the same players won a trophy!

    Michael, Lincolnshire

To be brutally honest, relegation may be the only thing that will save Spurs in the long-term, in order to come back stronger. It can't continue like this.

  17. Carrick makes a movepublished at 21:45 GMT 10 February

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport Manchester United reporter at the London Stadium

Michael Carrick has made his first move.

Harry Maguire's exit is probably not too much of a surprise given he is playing his second game in four days and looked to be feeling his hamstring at one stage in the first half.

The bigger call is taking off Matheus Cunha for Benjamin Sesko.

It gives Manchester United a focal point in attack but robs them of one of their more creative players.

Admittedly, Cunha has not had a good night. But the same could also be said of Bryan Mbeumo, Amad and Bruno Fernandes.

  18. Postpublished at 21:44 GMT 10 February

West Ham are in no rush to take a goal kick now, which will be frustrating Manchester United. The visitors have just under 20 minutes to find an equaliser.

Not looking good for Spurs, unless they do something quickly the Championship beckons.

Spurs need to do something drastic to avoid sleepwalking into the Championship. Clueless with the ball and hopeless without it.

Tottenham are right in it [relegation battle]. They are three points above the line at the moment. They need to seriously look at themselves in the mirror. There needs to be serious changes now.
